Stonetree Golf Club

For just having the irrigation system replaced, the course is looking like it is in extreme drought, fairways, greens and tee boxes all show signs of drought. The greens are in poor condition with weeds and dead spots. Greens look like they have not been cut in days.

I have played this course 200+ times over the past 14 years. It's a great layout. They have repaired ALL bunkers and they started this summer with a water system to keep every green plush...unfortunately we have not had rain two months with 100+ degrees at least 3 days each week...several greens are in poor condition. It's great course and when the greens come back it will be one of the best courses in this area.

The course is awful. They charge so much for this course and it’s pretty sad. I’ll try to give this course a few chances and a 5 1/2 hour round on bumpy greens sand everywhere on the greens. I was a single behind a six there was nothing we could do. It was backed up around the whole course. I ended up joining up with a group of three later on and one of them start off as a single, and the other one started off as a twosome. In the 30 mile radius it’s probably the best public course but that’s not saying very much if you have the opportunity just go to Austin.

The irrigation work is all done and the fairways are healing up nicely from being trenched. Some cartpaths still have trenches that you have to go around. They were repairing those as we were playing. I’d say a couple more days and will be done too. The greens have those little poa tufts. Hopefully they can get those wiped out before they get bad. Great course and I love playing here.

A lot of work going on, trenching going on through out course hole closure. Greens dry not in good shape.

Fairway and greens were near perfect. Especially the fairways. However, the weeds in the rough were terrible. Some weeds were so large they could literally hide the ball. Also, it looked like there was no effort to eliminate them.

The course is in good shape except for the maintenance that is being done. They are re working what looks like the entire irrigation system. Could not play #5, had to skip it. Lots of the cart paths have been trenched as well leaving bumpy gaps to manage with the cart. Once they are finished I’m sure it will be great again. Like u said the course is still great it just needs time to repair the cart paths and finish the irrigation system.

I have played Stonetree probably 100 times. They are putting irrigation over the entire course. They have rebuilt all of the bunkers (very good now). The greens are thin and quick - it's rather early for the greens to be thick.

My brother and I love this course. Challenging, but fair.

In another month this will be among the best courses in a

50 mile radius.

I understand they are doing some work for improvement but at least tell customers or give some credit because I pay to play 18 holes but I was able to play just 14

They are doing alot of renovations to the course. 1 hole was totally closed, alot of trenches in the course so alot of ground under repair. Some if the greens are getting bald with very little grass on them.

The course is in good shape, for the most part. There are some drainage issues here and there, given all of the recent rains. The only gripe I have is that there was no marshal keeping the groups ahead of us on pace. They were two groups of 4, buddies I think, and they combined into 1 large group of 8 and took FOREVER. Each one of them thinking they are tiger woods, aim pointing their way around the greens, and proceeding to quadruple putt. Sigh.

The course is amazing as always, staff is great. The golf now app is easy to use and when they have deals it saves me loads of cash.
