Course conditions are bad now. Although the bunker project is still underway the course should not look this bad. There are tournaments scheduled to start within the next few weeks and there is no way that the conditions will change prior to that. Additionally, the pricing of playing should be considered due to the poor conditions. It’s going to be embarrassing when people from out of town see the conditions for local tournaments that they paid for… Lastly I hear that the grounds crew is taking a break right before tournaments begin, it’s starting to look like Ft. Hood which is a great track with bad conditions. Nearly every other local course looks better than ST. Although not preferred, I would rather travel to Lampasas to play because the muni course there is excellent in comparison.

Paid $50 to play and no notification that 9 of the 18 was closed and the course was in terrible shape. We were notified by the starter on 1 that we had to play the front twice. Save your money.

I believe a discount should have been applied due to the construction around the course.

Been alternating courses this week, and came out to play here after a while. Your lie is either hard as concrete or your hitting out of straight mud. Greens are all different speeds with dead spots all over. Delaware springs has blowers to maintain leaves, and this place should invest in some. Even the ball cleaners have no water in them. Course has gone downhill recently and it seems as if owners don’t care as much.

I understand they’re working in the sand but they need to work in the fairways lot of trash leaves in the middle of the of the fairways hard to find the balls because of the leaves in the fairways that is a easy fix but we rent the clubs for my wife super good quality there and my wife said the female restroom need more cleaning

Great course, especially for the price point. Bunkers under construction, tee boxes are so so, but fairways and greens are in great overall shape. Will continue to play here.

Low. Cost hot deal while visiting the area was worth the price. Decent course layout. Some areas under repair and according to locals have been that way for sometime. Friendly people.

Typical Centex golf course. Tee boxes don't seem to ever get watered. Some of the boxes you almost need a hammer to get your tee into the ground. Christina is very nice and very helpful. Greens were decent compared to other local courses.

The course was good, except all the bunkers didn't have any sand. It was just dirt.

Stoentree is an older course but in decent shape for a good , challenging round of good. Very friendly staff and helpful. Definitely will come back again.

Overall great experience and enjoyed the course layout. It was in good condition except the traps are not playable and need to be redone. That said, it was still very enjoyable round! Also, the staff was friendly and it was a good value.

Course was pretty good. Luckily got in front of a slow 2 groups which made pace of play good.
