worth the drive

took the drive down to Squaw to play both courses, what a great day. my group met in Arlington and headed down around 6am, we were able to play both courses and get back home before 4. both Courses are in SUPERB shape, greens rolled very well, fairways maintained very nicely, all around great job by the grounds crew to keep all 36 holes in great condition. totally worth the drive if you live in the metroplex, get your group and play 36!

This jewel of a course is a great asset to Glen Rose. Squaw Valley actually has two nice courses. The greens are in great shape and the layout is attractive and fun. I highly recommend either of their courses!

Was disappointed in only one aspect. That was the lack of drinking water available on the lakes side. There was some on the driving range, but i failed to notice any during the round.

Course overall was in great condition. Greens were fast and smooth. Fairways were starting to fill in from winter golf conditions. My only complaint was the bunker conditions. Some were nothing but rocks others were perfect. Best remedy for this would just be not hit your ball into them!!

Great Layout

Love the layout of the Lakes course. Good condition considering the winter time. Overall I'd give it a good rating. However some of the traps are in bad shape that are unplayable with broom weed growing in them.
