A bit pricy for the conditions.
Course was not in prime shape. Tee boxes were not kept well, bunkers were ok but could have been better. Pretty good layout and some challenging holes. The wind make it as difficult as it was. Friendly staff.... Probably wouldn't play it very often at that price.

Frustration
I did not play on February 21st. The reviews I entered are from previous rounds I played there.
Here is the source of my frustration: I made the online reservation through GolfNow and was charged $50.99 - 100% in advance. The course contacted me the night before my round with a text that they decided to not reopen the course on February 21st because the superintendent ruled that the course was still too wet from a recent winter storm. The weather on February 21st was sunny and 65 degrees and it was similar to this on February 20th.
I finally contacted GolfNow on the phone (it was not easy!). They still have not refunded my $50.99, and refused to do so until they spoke to the golf club.
Why is it so hard to get my money back when I did nothing wrong here?
Why doesn’t GolfNow have a better line of communication with the courses you represent?

Course Change Up
Not a fan of the redesign, took away 2 par 4’s that were both 400+ yds, and replace them with 2 par 3’s that are each less than 150 yds, so the back 9 plays around 2600 yds,
With the short par 4’s on 10, 11, 15, and 16, makes the back side too short

Senior golfer
Hard course for a senior , even playing the red tees. But, I enjoyed the round because of the variety of hole layouts

I've been playing this course since it was Creeks of Beachwood and while it isn't easy, it's still my favorite in DFW.

A little wet so it was cart path only, but it was a good day overall.

Champions
This course has always been a great tract. The redesign necessitated by adjacent development took away two challenging holes and changed some others. Originally this was a very difficult course to manage your way around but the changes haven taken out some of the bite which makes it more playable. The staff is always very friendly and they do a good job of maintaining the greens and bunkers and recent landscaping has taken away a few penalty areas (I’m not complaining :-). The recent order adjustment of # 17-18 to now #10-11 makes perfect sense from both a safety and pace of play perspective. Overall, one of my favorite DFW area courses.
