About
Located just a few minutes from Washington Dulles International Airport, 1757 Golf Club is one of northern Virginia's most popular courses. The name comes from the same year that Loudoun County was founded. The golf course is definitely a shot-maker's layout with a diverse terrain that has elevation changes up to 30 feet. There are several risk-reward opportunities as well. Well positioned tee shots will be generously rewarded with accessible approach shots but if you're errant, you'll have to deal with a tough recovery. The golf course is fairly tight so accuracy is a necessity. There are also water hazards on 14 holes and the rough can also be punishing. 1757 Golf Club finishes with an intimidating par 3 that plays over water to a shallow green. You'll need a bold stroke to avoid a watery grave.

Still a great course
My only complaint was that I spoke to the starter and he didn’t acknowledge my salutation. It’s was as though he thought I didn’t belong there. Good thing that didn’t influence my game. The greens were in excellent condition as were the fairways
Beautiful course
1757 is my top course. Beautiful course. Nice layout. I love the greens true roll. Excellent pace of play Great practice facilities and amenities. The only drawback is that the course is a Par 70 a little short, but this is made up with picturesque views and landscapes.
The Course is Maintained in Excellent Condition
Every part of the course was very well maintained and well marked. The walkers making the turn back things up a bit as it is a long walk from the 9th Green to the 10th Tee Box. The staff are friendly and helpful. Excellent practice facilities for all parts of the game. Worth the drive from Montgomery County, MD and very thankful to be able to play.
Terrific Course - Lots of Water Challenges
First time playing and what a treat. The course was very wet but we have had lots of rain so no worries there. Great course to walk and the water hazards and marsh/wetlands add up for a great challenge to play smart and carefully so as to not find yourself in lots of trouble. Great pro shop with friendly staff. Due to COVID-19, the amenities were very limited so no judgment there. Well worth the drive from Maryland and the day turned out beautifully so we didn't mind the soggy fairways, etc. Look forward to the next round with a bit drier conditions, but not a complaint in any way.

Fun course and friendly staff
The course has a lot of water in play and choose shots carefully. The course was in great condition for mid-April.

Strange course
Lots of water — and tees that point you in that direction. A number of silly holes. The walk from the 9th green to the 10th tee is endless. The 10th tee is on the other side of the 17th green! Long walk from 10th green to 11th tee, too. Actually, it is stupId! Who was the course designers — Lewis and Clark! The 18th hole is a 150 yd. par is 3 — over water all the way. Please!
Impressed
The staff did a great job at managing the Covid-19 situation. No carts, scorecards, ball washers, rakes. Holes fitted with with a grill just a half inch below the green's surface. All that to cleverly remove any need to touch surfaces that other golfers might touch. Well done. Keeping your patrons safe while still allowing a chance to play.

Good Course, greens in good condition. Not designed for walking at all. Long walks from Greens to Tee boxes. 15 minute walk from 9th green to 10th tee.

Great Layout...too slow of pace
Course provides an opportunity for shot making and using of all the clubs in your bag. However, a 5+ hour round of golf for early morning start was not good.

Should let players know ahead of time if the greens just got aerated two days ago.

The good and bad.
Love the course. Did a fitting there. Went in that day with a 5 handicap. Come out being a 12. Roger decides he wants to be a swing coach. Wouldn't recommend.

Beautiful layout. Fun holes
Beautiful layout. Real chance to go low but can penalize you for bad shots. Only negative was that traps needed to be resanded but it’s close to the end of the year

NCCGA Event
