1757 Golf Club
About
Located just a few minutes from Washington Dulles International Airport, 1757 Golf Club is one of northern Virginia's most popular courses. The name comes from the same year that Loudoun County was founded. The golf course is definitely a shot-maker's layout with a diverse terrain that has elevation changes up to 30 feet. There are several risk-reward opportunities as well. Well positioned tee shots will be generously rewarded with accessible approach shots but if you're errant, you'll have to deal with a tough recovery. The golf course is fairly tight so accuracy is a necessity. There are also water hazards on 14 holes and the rough can also be punishing. 1757 Golf Club finishes with an intimidating par 3 that plays over water to a shallow green. You'll need a bold stroke to avoid a watery grave.

They got a good course out of a so-so piece of land. Practice areas are the best in N. VA.
Solid Course, Great Practice Facility
The layout lends itself to confusion and slower pace of play. Some of the back tee boxes are set off from the others adding an added layer of difficulty and vantage point. Cool course, lots of water, but pretty easy if you don’t get wet.
Thank you so much for your 5-star review! We are happy to see you enjoyed our course. We appreciate your feedback, and hope to see you back again in the future.
Great Conditions, bad air traffic
Best conditions I've seen at a DC public course in the last couple months. No crabgrass anywhere in sight. Greens and tee boxes were I'm great condition. Only downfall to this course is always the amount of planes that fly over the course and how close/loud they are.
Course is in excellent shape
Greens have bounced back from aerating and the greens, tee boxes and fairways are healthy and well groomed. There is plenty of drinking water on the course and the beverage cart was a frequent visitor.
Fun course but gets lots of play
1757 is a challenging but fair course that is a lot of fun to play. The course has excellent practice facilities, especially the shot game area. The only issues are with the other players who don't bother replacing divots in the fairways or repairing ball marks on the greens.
I love this course. it is clise to my home. I often play here.
Didn’t disappoint
Have been wanting to play this course and had the opportunity today. Great staff and facilities. Challenging course, pace of play for less skilled group (3some) ahead of us made the round longer unfortunately. But definitely a course that will be in the rotation going forward.
it is a nice course. pace if play was good today though the course was sort of crowded this afternoon.
food is delicious.
Great course
Greta course....very challenging.....bring your A game.
Could be great
Beautiful layout, but the course could be kept in better condition. Too many players not fixing divots and ball marks. The pace of play was also very slow.
Friendly staff, good layout make up for so-so condition
About the friendliest staff around that makes you feel very welcome, especially starter and pro shop. Good pace (play as early as possible) and layout, greens surprisingly quick in places, but overall condition is meh. Maybe to be expected given weather and amount of play, but fairways and greens have taken a beating. Will be back and recommended alongside of Westfields and Laurel Hill.
Disappointing finish
Course has great amenities for practice. Not a huge fan of the layout as it’s short and stuffed into a small space due to the geography. Most disappointing aspect was that I left my range finder in my cart after my round. Unfortunately the pro shop did not have it in the lost and found when I called to follow up. I guess whoever got to my cart after I was done with it has themselves a new Bushnell Rangefinder. It’s my fault for leaving it in the cart, but would’ve been nice if someone turned it in versus taking it. Make sure you don’t leave anything nice in your cart here!
Good but greens are getting bad
Please people fix your divots you savages... Greens are getting pretty bad from that, so many divots over all the greens. Staff may need to go around and do them or something. Fun course, good apart from that.
Nice course
Beautiful facilities, course was in great
Condition, The greens were in good condition, but most people do not fix their ball divots. It’s a shot makers course, course management very important to the players.
Thanks for leaving us a great review!
Great Roung
Really nice layout for only being 6600 from the back. Water on 15-18 holes makes it really fun. Conditions were perfect - fairways were amazing and greens were true and good speed. Definitely coming back and this moved into my top 3 in the area.
Appreciate the awesome review!
A great day for golf
We got a very good rate through Golf Now. Got paired up with another Twosome who were going to play from the Blue Tees (didn't make a lot of difference today BUT we figured these guys would move right longhand we might even hold THEM up. They wanted to hit a few and we were ready but we waited a short while for them. For good golfers they were VERY slow. At the break we took off because my partner had an engagement this evening and had to get finished. We were going great until the Par 5 15th hole when at least 8 kids jumped in front of us ALL at the same time. . The "adult" explained "its a golf camp." We wondered WHY they just jump in front of us. So we skipped the par 5 , played it from 150 in and kept going.
Golf course which makes you think!
The course is in great shape and the place is backed by excellent amenities. Has a country club vibe to it. Every hole, you need to think about your club selection. 18 th par 3 is a beauty!
Thanks for taking the time to review our course. We're glad to see that you enjoyed your visit to 1757. We love the 18th par 3 too - it's a great hole to end on.
