About
Located just a few minutes from Washington Dulles International Airport, 1757 Golf Club is one of northern Virginia's most popular courses. The name comes from the same year that Loudoun County was founded. The golf course is definitely a shot-maker's layout with a diverse terrain that has elevation changes up to 30 feet. There are several risk-reward opportunities as well. Well positioned tee shots will be generously rewarded with accessible approach shots but if you're errant, you'll have to deal with a tough recovery. The golf course is fairly tight so accuracy is a necessity. There are also water hazards on 14 holes and the rough can also be punishing. 1757 Golf Club finishes with an intimidating par 3 that plays over water to a shallow green. You'll need a bold stroke to avoid a watery grave.

Surprisingly nice

This course is great for testing your position play
Course was great, clean and well kept even though there was a morning scramble tournament. Staff are always helpful and appreciate their hard work when players are scheduled to play.

Great, tough course
Great course that requires you to hit it straight. Didn't play all that well, but was a fan of the course. Played Memorial Day Weekend and there was not many people on the course. Highly recommend for someone looking for a challenge.

Short but difficult
Played the Blues at 6100 yards. Need to be accurate. Greens were firm and rolled great. The course was in really good shape. Just need to hit better shots next time.

A must play course
Excellent course from tees to greens. some the best practice/training facilities in the area.

Great close in course
4-hour round as a two-some early on a Sunday, should have been quicker - no marshall to move along slow foursomes (were holding up the foursome directly in front). Back nine in better condition than the front, fairways/divots not maintained by other golfers, same for greens. Great friendly staff, including starter, pro shop and cafe. Good amenities, although there should be a warm up bucket between the size of the small (25 balls) and the large (75). Will be back - solid course with interesting variety of moderate and tough holes.

great course, super slow play
after 4 hours and 13 holes, i called it a day. great course, but was super super slow. course either needed to space out tee times (cart path only because of rain) or have marshall urging slow folks on.

Nice Course and Playable
Nice Course, this was my first time playing this course. My Gold Club (2putt4parr) played our championship round here last year and I missed it. This is a nice course and you can score if you stay out of the water...lol. The pin placements on some of the holes were challenging, but not impossible.
I will diffidently play it again.
