The Atchafalaya at Idlewild

Play here very often. Love the course layout. Very challenging. Conditions of fairways are awesome. Greens have been plugged and sanded which makes them worst than normal, and there normal green conditions are not good at all most of the time. Tee boxes are not the greatest either. I would actually become a member if they would re-surface the greens and tee boxes.

This is by far my favorite course in South Louisiana! I hope they are successful in improving the greens in the near future. Seversl of them seem are in distress.

The course is in good shape always enjoyed playing here but there are some greens that has some bad spots. But I'm sure the club is addressing this problem and will soon have them back in great shape.

The Greens and Tee Boxes need to be worked on badly.

Totally enjoyed the round of golf today. Pro shop staff was fantastic and very professional. Always a pleasure to check in. Course was in great condition. Only drawback was trying to get service in the Restaurant. Several times had issues with getting a server to take our order. When we did order it took 40 minutes to receive our food. But Food was great. All in all besides the restaurant service it was a pleasant experience.

The course is generally in good condition. Some of the tee boxes are in poor condition and some of the greens have dead spots while others are immaculate.

Fairways and bunkers are in good condition. Staff is friendly as always, carts are always clean.

No complaints here. Course was in great condition, greens were as well but a bit slow for spring. Course layout was okay, a few holes where you’ve got some thinking to do. I love when it’s golf in its purest form, no houses around, just golf and nature.

First time playing this course, one of the best in the area. The eagle tee boxes were a little sandy on a few holes, greens & fairways were all in great shape.

Margaritas in the turn were good.

If you look in the woods to the right of each tee box, you'll find my golf balls.

I plan to return :)

Very professional staff at check in. Course was in great shape. A little issue with staff in restaurant getting drinks and snacks at the Turn but other than that great experience.

The greens were mowed to a point that gave them a very nice faster putting speed from a week ago.

My view the two things that make a great golf course is design an quality greens.

Both of those things are being achieved.

Course was in great shape. Could not ask for a better time and weather was great. Play here very often. Favorite course in my area to play.
