Absolute disappointment
This course could and should be so much more than what it is. It has so much potential it’s almost disgusting to even think that from a year ago the fairways had huge aerification holes with no sand in them. Now the fairways look like they were in great shape but they were brown from not being watered since last time it rained. most of the greens were burnt on the top of the ridges. Some of the tee boxes had so much sand I couldn’t even keep a tee in it. The GPS was the best thing they had going for them and were taken off the carts. Just wish someone could actually take this place to what it should be.
Until then I can’t see myself playing here ever again.

Hidden Gem
This course is well maintained. Scenic and beautiful. The course was not crowded even on a holiday weekend. We didn't try to restaurant, but it was busy at lunchtime and smelled delicious. Greens are nice and big enough to shoot for. The course is set up to score, but only with proper shot placement. I plan on playing this course many more times.
My only minor things I would have liked to see. 1) On course beverage cart. on a holiday weekend,,,,, not sure why not 2). A Marshall or starter.
Overall, loved the course and will be back!!

Course is getting in great shape . greens are full of nice but a little slow! . I really like playing golf there!!
Always like to play and eat there!! Great place to visit!!
Greens were great
Second time playing this course, last was a few years ago. Greens were great, but the tees boxes on a few holes had absolutely no grass. I know that there has been unusually low amounts of rain lately, so the fairways were expectedly a little bare and rock hard. Other than that, this is a very fun and challenging course to play. Hard to beat for the price.
Course review
Course was was dry and hard very thin grass in the fairways. Range balls were out at 10 am. before teeing off. Club house was nice but the grill closed at 2 on a Sunday so nothing to eat but cold sandwiches. All in all should have been better for the $.

BARELY ANY GRASS IN THE FAIRWAYS AND DIRT UNDERNEATH IS HARD AS A ROCK. GREAT FOR LONG DRIVES BUT ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE FOR APPROACH SHOTS

My Last Round only because I am moving out of state
Good golf course it could be a True Gem . People at the course are so nice #1 . The Layout is nice- different tee boxes for all kind of players ! The hills and sand traps make you think on every tee box bout your next shot . Nice food in the club house and extra treat ! Only down fall of the course is the fairways need some water to grow grass then it would be a Gem ! Will Miss you guys that I played with over the past few years - you made an ole retired guy feel like home ! If i pass through in the future i will stop and play a round for sure . Later love the course ! I would say its a must play for the Bayou region .
