Four Mile Ranch Golf Club
About
Four Mile Ranch Golf Club sprawls across a stunning landscape of gently rolling hills. The layout closely follows the natural contours of the terrain and doesn't use any formal bunkers, in their place are white shale ridges called hogbacks. They can range anywhere in height from 3 to 30 feet and they're not even the golf course's only distinctive feature. The layout winds through natural rock outcropping and a number of mini canyons. It's as challenging as it is scenic, though, with several blind shots and intimidating greens, none of which are more daunting than that on the memorable par-5 sixth. This tough green is obscured by huge rocks, testing not only your skills but also your ability to strategize. Four Mile Ranch G.C. offers a golf experience like none other in the area.

Golfer Reviews
Most fun course in Colorado
If you’re an avid golfer or even play once a twice a year, This is a must visit.
Greens make the course
Course is not overly difficult,....until you get on the greens. They are very challenging. Very rolling and well maintained. Fairways are inrealy good shape. Nice to hit off of. Off the fairways,..... it is incredibly difficult to find your ball and almost impossible to escape without a drop.
Fun course
Played early, first time playing there, pace was good, course conditions was good. Greens are fun most are blind and lots of undulations. Staff very friendly!! Would play again for sure!!
Hard and unpredictable golf course
Really interesting for the fist time playing there.
Very challenging
Multiple hidden greens, most greens have significant elevation changes demanding good putting skills. Fairways are nice to hit off of. Course is not conducive for walking as there 8s quiete a bit of elevation changes throughout the course. It should be noted that the elevation for the area is over 5280 feet anyway. The course has a beautiful setring tucked up against the base of the foothills. The views are spectacular. Hydration is a must while playing there.
Challenging course
Not the longest or the shortest, but it is very challenging. Course requires accuracy from tee box to cup! You will need almost every club in your bag. Coirse conditions are great! Not hard and dry. Lot of up and down. Putting is VERY challenging as m9st greens have a lot of elevation changes.
Great value
Course , views, staff were great. Will definitely be back.
Nice layout and views
Course has nice layout and views. Back 9 is scenic and seemed to be in better condition than the front. Dry and hot weather seems to have stressed front more than back.
Driving range was not available. No clubhouse - very basic amenities for checkin and beverages.
Would like to play again when cooler.
Perfect
It's like having the course to yourself. Great views and a fun challenge.
Pure joy!
Played with family and had the best 18 holes! Perfect weather, perfect company. But the course??? We’ve played it in the past but it’s absolutely perfect now. I mean perfect! Such a joy! Thanks 4Mile for a perfect day!!
Such a Gem
South of Colorado Springs by about 40 minutes (depending on the part of town you leave from), this hidden gem is a fantastic course! Taking SH115, you see beautiful farmland and Fort Carson, a very pleasant drive.
The condition of the course is beautiful!! Gorgeous fairways & greens were a complete surprise! The elevation is approximately 6300’, so plenty of hydration & snacks is recommended on high heat days (it was 94 degrees when we played).
The 7th hole is a complete surprise!! A long par 5, be sure to watch for the white pole on the hill, which shows the direction of the green!
We will definitely play again!

Tough for a first round
I got lucky and had a couple of regulars playing with me otherwise I would have had no clue where to aim on a number of holes. As with most of the courses around here keeping the ball in the fairway is the key. Probably not going g to fing your ball in the brush.
That said I enjoyed my round. It longer than normal due to the bozos in front of us playing what appeared to be a best ball and moving very slowly. A ranger could have possibly resolved that.
I will come back again
