Really nice course and the only one I’ve played in Florida that was not flooded in 2 months. The Greens were almost in perfect condition.

Being away from golf for 6 weeks and 1st time back had to play Calusa.. Why Calusa, cause it is the best in a 75 mile radius. Staff is still the best by far, and the golf course is in the best condition around.. Sorry about that Heron Creek, but the facts are facts.. Keep up the great work that you do at Calusa Lakes! Kudos to the team and all the hard work that you do to make it a quality place to play…

Wonderful pro shop staff. Very welcoming and genuine. Proud obviously of their course and it's condition. We had a wonderful time and will be back again off season for sure! Course was in great condition.

I was amazed at how dry the course was after all the rain the Nokomis area has gotten in the last week. Greens are perfect. Pleasure to play will be back soon

Attractive course

I booked an afternoon tee time in August and paid about $55 for 18 holes including a cart and 30 balls on the driving range (irons only) . Obviously it was very hot, but there were very few people on the course so no waiting whatsoever. It's a very attractive course, well maintained and quite challenging due to fast greens and numerous water obstacles. There are restrooms and drinking water at regular intervals which is appreciable. The only downside I would say would be that most fairways have houses alongside them which can be off-putting if you are not totally confident in your accuracy with driver.
