Golf Advisor: Top 25 Courses for Pace of Play in the U.S. (2023 #4)
Reviews
Challenging track
Challenging layout need to be precise on drives. Greens were very quick which is nice. Pace of play was good. Overall a good golf outing
Good Public Course
I like playing at this course. Turnberry and Sawgrass are nice. Gleneagles is noisy and distracting because of I-75.
Nice round
Nice course with a good twilight rate. Almost finished 18 holes. Pretty challenging with lots of water and many holes. Would play there again. .
The course is in great condition. Played in 4 hrs on a Friday afternoon even though we waited a little on the last 4 holes. Staff is exceptionally friendly.
Great value
Great course with lots of options Sawgrass, Turnberry or Gleneagles - friendly staff. The course is very picturesque with a moderate skill level required.
Great Day of Golf
Friendly staff and well organized golf play. Nice course layout and pace of play!
Good course , poor Marshal.
Nice facility. Nice range. Nice course and greens. My only gripe is how we were treated by a course marshal. We only had played 3 holes. It was just my wife and I playing on the for the first time on this course. There was a foursome behind us. I lost a ball near the 3rd green. I took a few minutes to look for my ball. After we completed the hole we drive to the next tee.
A marshal stopped and informed us the group behind us was complaining about us. I told him it was our first time to play here. He told us to pick our pace. I offered to let them play through and the marshal said no because that would mess things up more. We were the second group off the 1st tee. It really frazzled my wife who felt rushed for the next several holes and it definitely decreased our enjoyment.
