Very Nice
Haven't played here in a couple years.....course was in best shape I ever remembered. Everything was very lush, green & grown in well. Unlike most courses around here, the overseeded winter rye was still plush. Greens could have been a bit quicker for my preference, but rolled nice & true. Only in 2 bunkers all day, but both had nice fluffy, raked sand. Overall, a really enjoyable round. Would definitely play again if wasn't leaving in a week. Nice track, great shape.
One of the best!
Top of the 5 best courses in the Venice area greens are in fantastic condition.. fairways are also in great shape… bunkers with real sand and also in great conditions… staff that works at Calusa Lakes are fabulous too… kudos to the superintendent and to Jay and his team….

Beautiful Course
From the arrival in the parking lot until our departure we were treated like royalty. Our clubs were taken and brought from the parking lot to the starter area. We enjoyed a leisurely lunch and were given a detailed overview of the course by the starter. The layout was very nice with generous driving areas and lots of water. The greens were magnificent and as good as any I have ever seen in Florida! . Everyone was friendly and very welcoming so we will definitely recommend to others and return if we are back in the area!

Greens in fantastic condition. Fairways tighter than some course but very fair. Fairway grass ok. Play moved along fine.
Course in great shape and greens are in perfect condition and excellent service from staff.

My wife and I chanced playing at a course we were not familiar with. Great idea to play here! Tees, fairways, greens were in great condition. Layout is fun and interesting with enough water hazards to keep you honest but not ruin the day! We will definitely play here again!
Very Nice Course
Nice layout with houses setback from fairways....no worries about hitting a house. Greens and fairways were both excellent. Really enjoyed my round.

We usually play Calusa Lakes every year at this time. In the past the course conditions have been fair to good. But this year the course was in great shape. The tees, fairways and greens were all in wonderful condition. We hope to play there again before we head back nous.
Calusa’s the best
We can play Calusa Lakes anytime when tee time is available. One of the best golf course all around in Sarasota. The greens NEVER disappoints us
Best Greens in the area
A little rough around the edges but you see that they are working on it.
No marshall so it can be slow at times.
Best Greens around here usually running around 11 on the stimp.
