Sawgrass/Turnberry at Waterford Golf Club

This course is usually a decent track, the fairways are in good shape, now we’ve gotten some rain, but they’ve got some green issues that they are battling and need to resolve quickly. It’s fine for a golf now special, but at full rate, people will be disappointed. I have faith they will resolve it, but I’ll wait to hear how it’s progressing before heading back.

I really enjoyed my round of golf at Waterford cc. Looking forward to my next play.

Staff very friendly, greens poor condition, fairways are fine. Somewhat boring layout. Good price

Wonderful day and seemed as though I had the course to myself. I guess I hadn’t processed how small the greens are here. Very enjoyable round of golf.

The fairways are in good condition greens on turn berry were in rough condition sawgrass greens were excellent. Still recommend playing

Quality tee to green. Very consistent playability. Will definitely be back. Loved the summer price.

Course was in very good condition and great pace of play. N9 complaints at all

Course was in great shape considering very little rain.

Everything the course could control were top shelf.The feels like temp was somewhere above 108.

We were a 4ball who played Gleneagles and Turnberry. Each took around 2 hours so pace of play for a 4 was acceptable.

The tees were excellent and the fairways on both nines were almost totally healed from recent work so good lies on them were a given. The greens rolled really well and were true.

Lunch was great value and the staff were very friendly and polite.

Altogether it was a memorable day out for us and I would have no reservations in recommending it for a visit.

Pro shop, restaurant, starter, cart/person all were very polite and helpful. And all of them were smiling. Whoever is managing the place has it figured out. I’m currently in a game at Capri and not sure why I don’t come over to Waterford more often. I think that is going to change.
