Calusa Lakes Golf Club

Really enjoyed this course. Greens were in pristine condition and fairways wear excellent as well. Driving range is limited in distance so you may not be able to hit driver if you can fly the ball 200 yards but on the other hand there is a sand trap in the practice area. How many public course offer that?

The course is private club quality sand bunkers are awesome. I would use a little sand up on lips of bunkers. Otherwise Excellent. Staff very helpful.

The course is drying out and conditions have fallen off since 2 weeks ago. Also, our round was over 5 hours.

Course was ok, greens slow and not true. Staff could use some training with friendliness.

My wife and had a great time. Tee time 2:21 played in 3.5 hrs as a twosome. Course was in good shape, greens excellent,bunkers good. Nice course for couples or anyone looking for a fair but challenging course.

Amazing course..greens were in PGA condition..Ive already recommended several people..best course in Venice..possibly the whole area! Go Play!

Some rough patches on a few fairways but overall ,good conditions.

The greens were excellent. And quick.

For the price, complimentary range balls should be included.

We were behind a slow 4 some, a ranger appeared on a couple of holes into the back and sped them up.

Challenging course would like another try now having learned better shot placement.. definitely raised the water level on many holes and lowered the sand in quite a few traps…j hi

Enjoyed the round and would recommend . Fairways narrow as the course weaves through the neighborhood. New ownership is pumping a lot of upgrades into the course one of the members we played with told us . The greens were in great condition. Not one brown spot or divot and rolled true. Fairway conditions brown in some areas but it’s been fairly dry this winter. Simple clubhouse with cafe style restaurant. Staff friendly and helpful.

First time playing Calusa and really enjoyed it. Course from tee to green was in really good shape. Nice mix of holes in all par categories. Greens were firm so a little challenging to hold. But otherwise really enjoyable. Made better by the fact that we completed our round in 3.5 hours without rushing and waiting as play slowed a little on the final 3 holes.

Great course design, excellent friendly staff. Pace of play was steady, course was a good challenge. Course is in good shape. Fun time spending an afternoon playing a challenging course.

Very nice course, in great condition - somewhat of a shotmaker's course as it gets a little tight in places, but it's also not too long (our back 9 barely required driver ever). A little pricey for what it is, but that's FL in the winter. I enjoyed it and would play here again.

Course is in good condition and greens are in good condition. I would play again.
