El Rio Golf Course in Fort Myers is a player-friendly layout that will appeal to players of all skill levels. It's an ideal course for beginners who are looking to get in some practice on a full-length course. The layout consists of mostly par 3s and most of the holes are on the shorter side. Though it's a seemingly simple design, the greens have slopes that range from subtle to dramatic, which can make determining your approach to them a daunting task. Par for the course
Friendly and helpful staff Course conditions were decent Greens were above average pace of play was great 2 1/4 hrs playing by myself $20 for 18 holes was a great value Will definitely play there again

Awesome staff very friendly but the course needs a lot of help. Most of the tee boxes were just sand, no grass. ... and they need a Ranger to help with the pace of play. As a single, the walking threesome in front of me would not let me go ahead of them which is just bad golf etiquette! It would be a cute little executive course but they just need to fix it up a bit.
Disappointed
Course only had 9 holes open not 18. There were piles of sand on both tee boxes and greens. Played this on a hot deal, but it wasn’t worth the money whatsoever.

Few Greens are in bad condition , and almost the tee off

Absolutely perfect course for those that don't play very often. Perfect for older players, not terribly long. Staff was helpful and very friendly.
Great small course
Great small course I aways enjoy playing here staff is great beer is cold And nobody rushing you it's great play here at least once a month
Great Tune-up Course
Good little hidden gem that isn't that expensive for what it is. Course is usually in really decent shape and the staff is always friendly. Course itself is challenging enough for everyone to enjoy.

Learner course
Straight greens, great and cheap place to learn to hit straight balls. Great if you’re starting to learn the game. The tee boxes could do with a little more love but not bad overall.

Low budget. Don't expect much
Most of these tee boxes are literally sand boxes. A lot are just weeds and very few have actual grass to hit off of. 5 gallon buckets at the tee boxes for sand. Fairways(when there are any) are almost indistinguishable from the green on most holes. Overall a fair value but would likely stay home than play here again given the option.
