Awesome golf course for first timers, me and my friends went to play very cheap entry fee. Friendly golfers nobody takes themselves too seriously. Lots of tips and help from other golfers if asked. Obviously know your golf etiquette let people who are playing faster pass you and fill your divots. Overall great course, one duo’s wife heckled us and hit us with a slur for no reason but she was wasted anyways so womp womp. Don’t expect a $100 experience for a $35 per golfer price tag but again for first timers was an absolute blast and will be coming back!

Confusing to get out

not busy on a Sunday afternoon. Front 9 went fast but 10 & 11 slowed as a couple started on the 10 hole just in front of our 4 some. The course is an executive type with several challenging holes.

Didn’t realize this was a par 3 course, other than hole 1 which was a short Par 4. Tee boxes lack grass and a flat surface, greens were cut to at best a 2nd cut, we tee’d off at 7:30 thankfully , round took 2hr 30 min for 2 of us. Looked like it was going to be a slow moving course. Not a real golf course., more like a field with palm trees and flags.

Playing here today was like a death march. The foursome in front of us was rude and didn't know the etiquette of golf.

Also, the tee boxes need some TLC and some grass would be nice.

Bad experience. Slow play on every hole, course in bad shape.

Very narrow in some of back nine, with often coming accross from ajacent opposite facing fairways. Course could sometimes use a ranger to keep things moving.

Wonderful round, I had unusual schedule but they worked me in. They are always so helpful and accommodating. You have a very friendly staff.

But you need more water stations! What.is keeping you from doing it. I would have rated you 5 stars on every thing.

When you have a Tee Time the person who checks you tells you to just get in line, so you don't really have a tee time. They have walkers in the morning tee times so the pace of play is extremely slow. The course could use a little love, tee boxes are awful,.and the greens need some work. It's a shame because the course layout is well done.

I booked through GolfNow. I arrived 25 minutes before my tee time and went to the counter to check in. The “pro” was facing me and but had his head bent down looking at a computer screen. He knew I was there but he never looked up. I waited 3 minutes before saying I was there to check in. He gruffly told me to sit down and wait as they didn’t have carts. I saw he was cordial to people he knew, and treated everyone else like crap. The course is just OK. In decent shape. The front 9 has the better layout by far. The best way to characterize the back 9 is that they ran out of room. The holes are ridiculously close to one another. I figure El Rio just don’t care about customer service since there aren’t many courses around at their daily fee level. If I knew yesterday what I know now, I’d skip playing rather than pay them my green fee.
