Palmetto-Pine Country Club

Snagged this tee time the day before on a hot deal. Very friendly at bag drop and pro shop. We got paired up with very nice members. Course was in great shape and the layout is very fair with wide landing areas. Not much water comes into play like most Florida courses. Beautiful undulating greens are a challenge and well protected by bunkers. Course had marshal and we finished just under 4 hours which was a bonus. Overall great experience!

I have a love hate relationship with this course. The layout is one of my favorites in the Cape Coral area. The course this year has been in very nice shape. What i dont like. The prices at the bar are crazy high. The food is very basic and just ok. The price to play the course is high but not crazy high for SW Florida at this time of year but still high. The staff is moderately friendly the starter is not. The outside bar is ok but you cannot see the course from it. That would not bother me as much if the club house did not have such a nice patio area that has a great view of #9 & #18 which are great finishing holes. They should serve drinks and food at this patio. It would be nice since a double shot pour at the bar will run you $17 to watch your buddies come in struggling to not double bogey 9 or 18 two of the harder holes on the course. I would hang out and have a couple drinks after the round if the bar prices were not so high and if it had any kind of view. As it is we finish our rounds and head down the street for food and drinks. Almost forgot the locker room is horrible for the price of a round. I would play here a lot more if the rounds and drinks were not so high. Worth the trip because the layout of the course is so nice. Challenging but fair. If your higher than a 15 HCP you may struggle with the course.

Good condition and a fun course. Pace of play was excellent

WE had a great time, the new greens are fast, but hard. There is no way to land a ball on the green and have it hold, it just bounces and rolls off. hopefully as they mature they will soften.

It will make the game more enjoyable.

Considering we're in season and a pretty severe drought course was in good condition. Nice facilities and cool staff. Some members can be snobby at times. A bit pricey but compared to naples and other courses its reasonable. I look forward to playing again..

Course was in great shape. It was not oversold so we did not wait and were not pushed. Super Trumpy vibe so do with that what you will.

We have played P-P a number of times. The staff are always friendly. They keep the course in great shape. The design features mostly flat fairways with just enough water and trees to make it interesting. But the dominating feature is the greens. There is not a flat surface to be found, and they were extremely fast when we played on a Sunday. Many of them are elevated and most are heavily guarded with large bunkers, albeit with good quality sand. Overall, an interesting course where putting is the main challenge.

Course is nice, but should be more in the $90-95 range, not $130. The greens have way too many slopes and breaks. There is no straight putt anywhere on this course.

Ill play again, but not during peak season with the pricing.

I got a great rate on GolfNow. Not worth the rack rate. Especially for a 5+ hour round. Course is much improved after storms.

Excellent time and nice course. Regular price is extraordinarily high but I got a great deal. My only complaint is pace of play on the back nine. Started at hole #11

The is the best course in Cape Coral. A little pricey, but if you can catch a deal, it’s worth the trip.

This course is beautiful, well laid out and fun. The greens have a lot of undulation and are fast. Really enjoyed playing here. It was also a beautiful day which made it even better!!

Nice course and in decent shape considering the last of rain. Greens rolled nicely and fairways were in decent shape. DO yourself a favor and make sure you play the correct tee boxes…..and then move up one set! The Silvers were much more fun than the Whites given the windy conditions.

Really like the layout. Greens are very challenging and fast. Played with a couple of memebers. They were very nice and helped out with reads one the green and where to put the ball in the fairways. I look forward to playing this course again in the future.
