El Rio Golf Course in Fort Myers is a player-friendly layout that will appeal to players of all skill levels. Terrible course rude staff
Greens are atrocious, course is in terrible condition. Staff is rude and makes it seem like you’re an inconvenience to them while over paying to play at a course that is the worst I’ve ever played in Florida by a lot. Find somewhere else to play.

Par three course
Basically a par three course. No starter or ranger so the pace was very slow
We apologize for the pace of play issue you experienced. We always try to keep a great pace when having our golfers on the course. Only front nine open. Tee boxes and greens are in terrible condition.

Wish it were nicer. Great staff
Front nine closed for reseeding of greens but given the opportunity to not play. Very well done. Played back nine twice. The course is pretty beat up. Only grass on one or two tee boxes. Greens not in great shape and cut too high. Do wish I could say more positive things but hard to do. There are other options close to here. Wish it was nicer. The staff is always great.

It was a Saturday and it was slow
We got caught behind some teenage love birds so we only played 10 holes

Never !!!!!! Poor tee off condition, greens so so...
Dangerous for all the players for example the ten hole and driving range are very near and some balls come down in front of the green. The word FORE !!!!! was often used by several golfers all this round.

The tee boxes are showing a some wear from the hurricane two months ago. The rest of the course was in pretty good shape
Needs a lot of work
Granted I paid very little to play, used a hot deal. But the course was in terrible shape; barely any grass in the tee boxes, greens with worn spots, fairway long and shaggy. By the looks of things you can wear anything you want out there. Course etiquette was poor, two couples were slow and wouldn't let me play through. No ranger on the course to keep pace of play going.. The drving range was right along the road, just asking to for a disaster with car traffic. I'll never go there again.
