El Rio Golf Course in Fort Myers is a player-friendly layout that will appeal to players of all skill levels. It's an ideal course for beginners who are looking to get in some practice on a full-length course. The layout consists of mostly par 3s and most of the holes are on the shorter side. Didn’t play
Arrived 20 minutes prior to 8:24 tee time. There was league play, we were asked to wait for 3 foursomes (some walking). We choose to leave and skip my husbands birthday golf as he had to work at 1 and we would not have been able to complete 18. The course should not sell Tee times they cannot honor. Will not be back. Staff was competent and offered a refund. Unacceptable scheduling.

This is a nice little par 3 to sharpen your short game. The staff is super friendly and accommodating.
Great Course Layout
This was my 3rd time at this course, I loved it. Great personnel. The course includes sand trap and water hazards on several holes making it a challenge and helps you improve your game.
Nice course for quick round
Staff very friendly and welcoming. Good course for quick round of play. Not many water hazards to get you in trouble, many greens with bunkers that could cause some problems. Great course to work on your irons and short game. If you need to work on your long game no real opportunities to do that on this course. Having said all that would be happy to play this course again

Staff is extremely rude!!!
Paid for 18 asked for a rain check after 9 real bad condition holes and they where the rudest course ever!

Friend First Time Out
This course worked perfect for a first timer on a course, we were the last group out and had time to teach her the rules of the game and show her how to use her various clubs. She thoroughly enjoyed her first round and I am sure she will be a repeat player at the course.
