El Rio Golf Club
About
El Rio Golf Course in Fort Myers is a player-friendly layout that will appeal to players of all skill levels. It's an ideal course for beginners who are looking to get in some practice on a full-length course. The layout consists of mostly par 3s and most of the holes are on the shorter side. Though it's a seemingly simple design, the greens have slopes that range from subtle to dramatic, which can make determining your approach to them a daunting task. Trees that line the fairways demand accuracy but the landing areas are generous. El Rio Golf Course has a pace of play that makes it convenient if you're looking for a quick round and the layout is gentle enough for beginners, and even junior players, to tackle with confidence.

Great Course to Walk
Great Course to walk excellent staff moderate to challanging holes easy to get on.
practice my short game
Close to where I live in nfort myers greens are nice for putting
Fun for the average golfer
Course is in good shape. Greens are well kept. Some fairways are narrow. Great course to practice your iron play.
Fun!
We had a fun relaxing morning. Not many people there so there no waiting or holding anyone up. the course looked easier than it was. I will definately return.
Great little course.
Golfed there fir years. Always a great experience and staff is great every time.
Good Quality Executive Course
El Rio is a nice little executive course that is not very busy, except for Tuesday evening league play. This course provides a good opportunity to practice your short game. It is not difficult and most holes have few obstacles.
Had a great time !!!
We had a wonderful afternoon. Thank you !!!
My sons were very lucky that they can Play here and for me it was ok , too.
S o Convenient
Not bad for the money and great location. Couldn't get used to greens. Very, very, slow! Recently punched and may not have been cut. Will play again
Favorite Little Course
This course is near my house, and it is always an enjoyable time. Not the most beautiful or scenic, but it's golf, and it's $17. There isn't a 9-hole rate, so go expecting to play 18.
Good Experience
Took my 9 year old son and fiancé who is a beginner. The course was in good shape. Tee boxes, fairways and greens had plenty of grass. It's a short course with some challenging par threes and a few good par fours. Good course to learn on or play a quick afternoon round especially for the money!
Great value for money!
Awesome little course. Very short, so gives a good little test of your short game. Very helpful and friendly staff.
good for your short game
A lot of par three's .course was in good condition
Good Conditions for April
This course was in good shape considering it hasn't rained much lately. We played at noon, so most of the day's players were finishing and it wasn't crowded. The course has many easy holes but a few are quite tricky. It was an enjoyable outing.
Great short course
Enjoyed the course very much. I don't play executive courses at all but liked this course to help my short game. The greens were very smooth and I felt comfortable with their speed. Nice setting and very enjoyable.
Below 3 hrs
Excellent course to train your short game - very friendly staff.
course in excellent condition
Great place for a quick game of golf at reasonable price.
This course needs new management, could be nice if a profession operated this course, Unbelivable slow pase and care free attitude by management,
After being on course for more than an hour and only completed 3 holes as short as they are, went back to club house and asked for a rain check, was told no such thing.for slow play.after completing first hole three groups of 4 waiting in front of us for the second hole, worst managed course ever been on. With a little effort could be a fun place to play.
FUN EASY COURSE
THE COURSE PLAYED GOOD. GREENS ARE GOOD. I WOULD PLAY IT AGAIN
Good golfing
Every time I golf at El Rio, the greens get better, must have made a change in the grounds keepers.
Good value course
Friendly staff, mediocre greens, poor food - only beef hot dogs, which wasn't an option for my wife. Pace of play was excellent - finished 18 in 3 hrs.
