El Rio Golf Course in Fort Myers is a player-friendly layout that will appeal to players of all skill levels. Rained out
Only played a few holes before being hammered by rain. The holes I did play were in pretty good shape. They were kind enough to give me a voucher so I cant wait to play there again.
Nice par3
missed the part about the course being a par3 but played anyway. Got teamed up with two really nice locals. And we had a very pleasant round. if pace was better it would be a nice course for players at all levels.
Fun par 3
Played with my wife and two other gents joined us. Played in 4 hours and had a great time there. Greens were very good and most of the par 3's had small greens which made it and challenging little course. Would play again.
Nice Little Course
I was pleasantly surprised.
Played here with my wife and daughter. As is par for the course at most Exec Courses there were 2 groups on every tee but moved along in under 4 hours. Best part were the greens that were unexpected, most of the other courses of this type have really bad greens but these had grass on them and weren't to bumpy just a little slow.
We had a great time as the other groups in front and behind were quite friendly so it made it more enjoyable.
We will be back.
Nixe place to Start the Golf Season
Ein netter Kurs um nach dem Winter wieder mit Golf zu starten. Hatten leider einen 1 Mann Golfer mit Begleitung hinter uns welcher uns ab Loch 10 dauernd die Abschläge gefährlich nahe zu uns brachte. (1x ist OK ,kann passieren, aber nicht an jedem Loch). Sehr viele ältere Golfer / Anfänger welche das Spiel etwas in die Länge zogen. Sonst OK
Fun, short, course.
This is a fun little course, mostly par 3's. I wouldn't say it's easy, but I enjoyed it very much. The greens were great! I'm from New York so the putting was easier from what I'm used to. Definitely recommend it.

There were too many people for the pace to be good.

The executive course was crowded & was backed up on all holes, I am sure it is a seasonal thing.
Slow play
Foursome in front of us with open hole in front of them did not let us play through so we waited on every hole. Course layout leaves no room for straying from fairway but needed mowing. Greens kind of shaggy also.

Nice short 18 holes, well maintained,friendly, but pace of play was very very slow

Nice course for real beginners, very easy, short, playable.

Very slow play on back nine. Dangerous on beginning of back nine. Hole #10 ran along driving range. 3 groups on one hole most of the time. Quit after hole #13.

Quaint little course
Took our son there . He is a new golfer. Was a good course for him as it it a short course , all 3 and 4 pars .
Lots of water though . Overall we had a great time golfing at El Rio .
Enjoyed it.
Had a good time here. This is a par 60 executive length course. The course was in good shape. The staff are very friendly. Watch out for the driving range alongside 10. Lots of mis-hit range balls in the fairway so you have to pay attention where yours lands!

This course is short but requires some good shotmaking on a lot of the holes

The course is in good shape, had a great time there. Bring water, there's hardly any out on the course.
