Tune up your iron game
This course is a good play for your iron game! You will use every iron in your bag multiple times. Lots of water to shot over and around.
Relaxing Day!
Course was in excellent condition and the weather perfect. Was never waiting to tee off.
Good challenge
This executive course is a good opportunity to sharpen your short game; most of the holes have water in play. The greens are slow, which takes a little more practice to adjust your stroke.
Getting better
Played this course last January and it was a little rough and needed some work. Now the greens are much better. Most par 3's require straight shots or you'll lose your ball with all the water and property boundaries. Par 4's are pretty tight so don't pull out the driver unless you can hit it straight. Nice friendly staff and great value for the money through GolfNow.
Tight but Fair
Greens on the slow side, very tight fairways, 16 of 18 greens very good condition, 2 greens only fair. Fairways excellent condition, Restaurant service very slow, food excellent especially the grouper.
Challenging
Beautiful course. If you're not a pro, bring a few extra balls. A lot of water and out of bounds. I'm not a great golfer but really enjoyed the challenge.
Lots of water
The fairways were not in good shape and the greens were so what better. What real surprise me there was drinking water available on course.
Nice course
It is a nice course. You need to be hit very straight and have a good control of your distance. I enjoyed the course.
Tough little course
You need to hit straight. Water in play 75% of the holes
Poor Management
Office Staff had NO public relations skills -" bitter" and not able to assist clients.
Good Course, Poor Service
Pro shop worker was not friendly & didn't know the check in computer system well enough to know that the round had been prepaid even after showing the confirmation.
Bring lots of balls.
As a beginner at golf I don't always hit very straight. I think I need more practice before I play this course again. And buy more balls. Yes you need a lot of balls to play this course. There is water everywhere or houses on the other side. The greens were in good shape with enough slope to make it fun putting.
short game
Course was good for mid iron and short game practice.
Greens were in good shape but slower than average.
Tuff Lil Course
Kept up well, alot of water in play with houses that sit close. So if you score correctly, you'll see that its tough all around. Narrow fairways and pretty small slopey greens. Arent too many bunkers though, so thats good. For a par 60, it also has more long holes than expected.
good value fun course
Very tight executive course. Lots of water. Better hit it straight or bring a lot of balls. Guy I was playing with hits a big slice and lost a dozen balls. Can only hit driver on a few holes. Slow greens probably due to amount of play. Wind was really blowing which made it even harder. Driving range definitely needs leveled. Bring your confirmation number because they won't honor your word.
No fairways, only roads between bungalows and water hazards
Terrible place, not suitable for golf. When you like to play inside the village, cross many roads and like to play golf without any fairways, go there, but if you like to play golf like a sport in some nice landscape, forget it.
terrible condition
Greens had not been cut in a long, long time. I could not recommend this course
The course needs a ranger to speed up play.
The course was fun, but the women's league in front of us were very slow. They could each take 9 mulligans! We were backed up on every hole. There was no way to play through. I called the clubhouse to complain when there were 2 foursomes waiting.
Sabal Springs
It was awesome. Not my best round in Florida, but my most enjoyable. The price was GREAT.
