Good rate, good condition, friendly staff and played under three hours. Greens were beautiful. Happy I booked it

Due to some scheduling issues whether by the course or the APP, it took over 5.25 hours to finish the round. My wife and I normally take about 3 hours to finish 18.

Pleasant surprise for a budget round. Course in decent condition and greens were very good.

Nice course and great staff especially in the bar/restaurant.

Upon arriving at the course, you can see it’s an older clubhouse. The staff at check-in was efficient. At the the first tee is where it started to go sideways. The starter, immediately began to tell us that we were not scheduled for the teatime that we had scheduled. “No, sir that’s the 1006 group.” at that point I probably should have stopped. It was the beginning of the 51/2 hour round. The course itself is laid out nice. Several sets of tees offer different levels. Overall it is a good track. It was evident that some of the players on the course were new, when an errant tee-shot hit my cart. We never heard a word from those who hit us. I am very glad to see new people playing the game, I just wish somebody would take a few moments and let them understand what course etiquette was. I would recommend this course to a friend because I believe when the greens have healed from the aeration. It would be a fantastic weekday play when the crowds were smaller.

I play here as often as I can. Great layout. Course in very nice condition.

Like everyone says about the place - the cart paths need some work....but I'm not playing golf on the cart paths (usually).

Best, most challengingly playable course around Ocala in my opinion.

Played this course. The clubhouse staff and bar/restaurant staff were great very accommodating. The course layout is really nice. The greens had been aerated so a bit sticky. Nothing you can do about aerated greens this time of year in Florida. I loved the adulation of the greens will be really good when they get fast.. the rest of the course need some serious work. I have never golfed on a golf course where the cat paths were in this bad of shape.. The fairways were decent somewhat weedy. The bunkers are in need of drainage and sand. Not sure of the circumstances with the owners, but it seems to me maybe they don’t have the means to keep this course in tiptop shape. At one time I’m sure this course was one of the better courses in the area.. maybe overtime some more investors can get involved and get this gem whip back into shape it’s a shame to see it deteriorate because of the lack of funds to keep it up. I will play this course again it will not be high on my priority list anytime soon . However, I did like the layout and the greens will play it again someday. Not to be a Debbie downer with proper care this course still has good bones.

It's a beautiful course, and if you like drivers, it's definitely for you. However, you will probably lose balls whether it be the nice thick grass in the rough or one of the many ponds you drive over. You WILL lose balls1

Very nice layout. Older, traditional course. Several holes where water is close by. Greens in great shape. Staff very friendly & helpful. Refreshment cart on course. Pace of play - 3 hours 15 minutes for 18 holes - hard to beat. As mentioned in other reviews, the cart paths need some work ... but golf happens on the course, not the paths.

Although the course layout is great and the greens are very nice, the rest of the course needs some TLC.

The only negative for me is the condition of the "cart paths", reminiscent of the Oregon Trail......
