Disapointing Golf Course
I would not recommend this course and don't plan to return. Very simple layout and course conditions were mostly poor. Very slow play, but staff members were all very nice and helpful.
Great open course
Good course for new players like myself. Wide open fairways and minimal trees/woods to lose your ball in. Would definitely play again.
Nope
Slow play, lousy course conditions. Carts are being driven right up to and all around the greens. The place appears generally over-used and abused. I won’t be back.
Great municipal course
Good value. Greens ore preys good with a gre rough spots. Fairways are ok with scruffy rough and packed sand bunkers. Layout was very good with enough elevation change to make it interesting.
this course gets alot of play
alot of play here.. this is a city course that is not keeping the course up...greens are rough and no new grass was planted in the fall,also fairways need alot of attention and that goes for the bunkers
No organization
No ranger, no starter, tee boxes not colored, construction but 60 dollars. A joke
Over-rated by others!
I really don't understand recent reviews of this course and can't give it any more than 2 stars. The staff was as nice as could be and the pace of play was good, but otherwise I can't recommend the course unless you pay $25 or less. The greens were awful and don't seem to have recovered from a reported aeration some weeks ago.
Straightforward.
This is the closest course to our new home in Ocala, FL. We pass by this club every day and so it was only a matter of time before we tried it. The price was right and it was a perfect day. The course isn't fancy. The layout is conventional and the conditions aren't perfect. But it's a long, playable, championship course and a good value for the money. We will return.

This is a city owned course that has spent the summer months doing a lot of work to bring the course back to great conditions that they are known for. The challenges created by a major water line break and the courses war on a weed challenge as the course going into the non growing season a weak. Next years growing season will allow our bermuda grass to regain its strength. All the other projects you witnessed when play demonstrates that this muni care about its course and is working to improve it.
