Stonebrook Golf Course

Had a wonderful day at Stonebrook CC. Stag was friendly and the pace of play was great. preff from group behind us. I’ll be bac to play soon since Tiger has me excited about gc again

This course was not what I expected! Must have been a change of management from the previous visit I had at this course. The course was in poor shape . The pace of play was terrible! The course allowed a group of five and the group didn’t have good etiquette and wouldn’t allow a group of two to play through! I was so disgusted that I quit the round! I will never play this course again!

This course stays busy, fairways are always mowed, greens were in poor shape last year, but they have replaced several & all look very good this year. The greens are fast & have enough space & undulation to challenge your putting. The staff is friendly & knowledgeable, Ryan Mattox, the golf pro is great. Stonebrook has many programs in place to promote the game to the next generation of golfers. They have regular special events & are very active in the local community. I took the sport up about a year ago & have played about 8 courses. This & Tanglewood are my favorites.

I would say it's probably one of the most challenging courses in a 75 mile radius. The ladies tee boxes are fairly level, fairways are great, and the greens are true.

We play here in a regular basis mainly due to the consistency of the course conditions. It was in excellent condition for this time of year. I highly recommend this course to all skill levels.

With the rain the greens were great and fairways good.

Some greens challenging. Some water hazards are not seen until your in them.

Good shape for winter conditions. I would suggest this course to any golfer.

Stonebrook has a decent layout with some challenging holes but has some consistent issues with conditioning. I have played the course on numerous occasions but had stopped for a while until this most recent round. This is in large part due to the normal conditions of the course.

The course is manicured very nicely but always seems to be wet and soft. The greens are extremely slow by modern standards. This may be purposeful as the greens have a lot of extreme contours, mostly like an upside down bowl. There were several uphill putts where I just couldn't force myself to hit it hard enough to get it even 3-4 feet short of the hole! As mentioned, the fairways are very soft with no run-out on drives. This also makes it difficult to compress the golf ball, causing inconsistent distance control. On the plus side, the staff is extremely helpful and cordial and the practice facility is large and well designed. The practice greens run about the same speed as the greens on the course. I would recommend this course as it has an interesting layout and I don't think the slow conditions bother other golfers as much.

Really enjoy playing this course. Greens are consistent. Food was delicious. Don’t see beverage cart often. Favorite course in Pensacola area.

The course was great and the staff was excellent and friendly. The weather was so good that the course was super-busy. I ended up quitting after 14 holes because the pace of play was slow. Not the staff's fault. Just a beautiful day and everybody in Pace wanted to play golf.

The course was in great shape. The greens were close to perfect. The tee boxes needed mowed and they were in the process of mowing that morning. We were the first out so we had no one in front of us. The only concern I can think of is that they have little rocks for tee markers and they are a little hard to see.Great course I would recommend it to a friend!

Great course to play. We had 3 sets of five in front of us and they would not let us play through. Our normal 18 holes 2 and a half to 3 hours, this day 4 hrs 15 min.
