About
Carved from pine, oak, and magnolia trees, Cypress Lakes Golf Club tumbles through gently hilly terrain, a rare landscape for a Florida course. Formerly known as the Solutia Golf Club, Cypress Lakes is also covered with hundreds of crepe myrtles and blooming azaleas and of course, cypress trees. Water comes into play on a few holes and the trees can prove to be tricky but the challenges of the golf course are balanced with the generous width of the fairways. The course's playability appeals to a variety of different skill levels, especially with four sets of tees available as well. In addition to the course, there are also extensive practice facilities available at Cypress Lakes Golf Club including an all-grass driving range, a practice putting green, and a practice bunker.

Best greens
Well maintained course and friendly staff, especially the starter and Marshal.
Nice course
We like golfing this course because it’s usually taken care of, however don’t use your GN points because they didn’t give any back on this course!
Great shape!
Course is in great shape. It is very busy but still moved along ok. Greens are very nice. Overall a good time and good deal!
Very friendly people
Got paired up with 2 older guys that was great to play with. Greens was med speed but in very good shape. Fairways were great. If I’m back in this area I’ll be back to play again. Thank you Mr Bob and Mr Jim for letting this Texan play with y’all
Great muni course in Cantonment
Fairways and greens in good shape for summertime.
Some tee boxes needed work.
Nice layout with plenty of water dispensers throughout course.
Not super great management of tee times causing slower play than should have been.

Cypress Lakes re-visited
Haven't played here in a bit. Pleasantly surprised that greens and fairways were in much better shape than the last few times I had played here. Nice Job Cypress Lakes!!
Good Value and Decent Shape
Played in a day of regular on and off rain. Course held it's own given the amount of water it received. Holes had variety and kept it interesting. Staff was very friendly as were other golfers. Pace of play was a concern going in based on reviews but I was done despite rain delays in less than 4 hours even though I never asked anyone if I could play through as a single.
Good course – great value
Course conditions were very good. Fairways and greens were fabulous… Tee boxes were decent. The pace of play was slow, but not horrible. The greens were on the smaller side with a lot of undulations.
I would definitely recommend this course, especially if you can get it on a hot deal.

Pace too Slow
Nice enough course. Plenty of elevation changes. Greens in decent shape. It just took so long we left after 10 holes. 2 1/2 hours for 9 holes on a Tuesday afternoon. Sad, but funny, on the way out we saw 2 empty ranger carts so pace did not seem to be an issue. We told them at the counter but didn't seem concerned.
