About
Carved from pine, oak, and magnolia trees, Cypress Lakes Golf Club tumbles through gently hilly terrain, a rare landscape for a Florida course. Formerly known as the Solutia Golf Club, Cypress Lakes is also covered with hundreds of crepe myrtles and blooming azaleas and of course, cypress trees. Water comes into play on a few holes and the trees can prove to be tricky but the challenges of the golf course are balanced with the generous width of the fairways. The course's playability appeals to a variety of different skill levels, especially with four sets of tees available as well. In addition to the course, there are also extensive practice facilities available at Cypress Lakes Golf Club including an all-grass driving range, a practice putting green, and a practice bunker.

Golfer Reviews
Gotta play it!
Great little track that is very challenging! Don’t let the shorter yardage fool you it’s not a cake walk. My wife and I play 9 holes and it was great. Fast pace never had to wait and the starter was a super nice guy! The bang for the buck is unbeatable! Would definitely recommend playing here.
Nice facilities for a good price
For the price we paid for teetimes, snacks, range, balls, etc. it was well worth the day trip out with friends
Great course
This is probably the best course in Pensacola area. The clubhouse is dated, but the golf course is excellent! The Greens are fast, but something to get use to.
They cater to their members. Let 5 some play and will not make them let players go through. We said something to the staff and they didn’t care at all. That five some was holding our group and several groups behind us from the very beginning of play. If the staff doesn’t want to make members play by rules then they should just shut it down to public play. The course was very nice other than that but being held up on every hole you can’t get into any consistent play. Then the members was yelling across the course at one another so when you was hitting the ball you had to deal with that.
Best course in Pensacola, FL
Compared with other public courses in Pensacola, FL Cypress Lakes is the best golf couse right now. Tee boxes, fairways, and greens are in great shape, pace of play was perfect, and the GN Hot Deal price was the icing on the cake.
Great Golf Course. Easy to Navigate.
Cypress is well-maintained and managed. Wide fairways make for a forgiving course. They do have slow and sandy greens. The green side bunkers can be deep but playable. I do enjoy the 3 blinds holes; par 5’s 2 and 11; par 4, hole 7. Fair Marshall and bathrooms on the course. There’s no cart person so get your snacks before you leave out.
Nice course , Nice people
The course is nice & the staff is friendly. They had just aerified the greens, which is a must for any golf course. I wish they would have discounted he greens fees a little more than they did.
Defiantly booking again!!
Normally courses in this price range aren't very good, bare spot on the green, high fairways. NOT this course, Cypress Lake had everything going this weekend, Fairways were the perfect height, Greens were rolling great. Needed more GIR though, that was on me. We definitely we be back.
Great course
Grounds and greens in excellent condition, staff friendly. Our favorite course in the area and best value for the money. Only complaint was slow play as one foursome had the course backed up.
Marshal finally intervened but it wasn’t until the 12th hole.
Duke
They are working hard to keep course in good shape. Hope they keep paving cart paths.
Cypress Lakes
Course in good condition, pace of play a little slow due to age and beginner players.
Played with a very nice grandfather and his grandson . Great guys. Course was in very good shape . First year in the seven I have lived here that ball sits up on grass in fairways . Greens tough to read but are in great shape . Staff as always is
Excellent . Very friendly and helpful.
Play cypress
Great course for this area. Small inclined greens
Challenge the approach shots multiple times.
Cypress Lakes
Price is excellent, fairways and greens in very good condition. Due to price several types of players, some don't understand golf ethics.
