Stonebrook Golf Course

Overall the course is coming out of winter well. However, the greens are inconsistent and difficult to determine putt speed. New residential development along #3 and #4 disrupts the aesthetic of that corner of the course.

I played this course this past Friday and Saturday. (Would have cancelled Saturday after seeing conditions Friday but had already booked with several friends thru GolfNow ahead of time). The greens are in terrible shape. It’s not worth what they’re currently charging at full price for a tee time. Either look for a hot deal or look elsewhere!

The greens are in poor shape, even for the winter season. Choosing not to overseed the greens have left them vulnerable to ball marks, many that aren't repaired, to the point that it's difficult to find a line where you're not having to repair multiple ball marks prior to putting. To putt on these greens at this time you need to read the breaks, correctly guess the darting direction over ball marks, and also correctly judge (guess) the ball passing between the dormant grass and the multiple mounds of green grasses on each putting surface.

A great course layout and very well maintained.

Paid for a hot deal, drove 25 miles from home to stonebrook yesterday, met my friend waiting in the parking lot and we both walked into the clubhouse. Told the guy behind the counter ( Jim ) we had paid for a hot deal and he asked if we wanted a cart for ourselves or are we riding together. Due to the virus we said riding alone ( there was a fourth person on the same time hot deal that none of us knew, me and my two friends ) Good old Jim said that we would have to pay an extra 5 dollars now to have a cart. I told him that none of the other courses that myself or any of my friends have played had charged this extra fee. He didn't care, pay 5 dollars now or take the chance and catch the virus, take it home to your loved ones. I walked out, how low can you go. If I knew ahead of time about this extra fee I wouldn't complain about it. Won't play or recommend this course to anyone again. All the other courses are more than happy to have our business and understand about having your own cart

For a winter round the course is in great shape. Greens rolling true. Course personnel very pleasant. Weather perfect for a winter day. What more could you ask for. I played with 2 other fellas who showed great patience while I struggled through a round of golf working on tightening up my swing it was not pretty but can feel the changes working.
