About
Crystal Lake Golf & Country Club sprawls across a scenic landscape of native wetlands, an abundance of hardwood trees, and a generous smattering of meandering creeks and sparkling lakes. The beautiful terrain sets it apart from other golf courses in the Atlanta area. The course is known for the numerous grass-walled bunkers filled with pristine white sand that are strategically placed throughout. The player-friendly greens are wide and approachable, but there is the occasional multi-tier to watch out for. The generous nature of the greens also allows for a variety of pin placements. The natural features of the landscape at Crystal Lake Golf & Country Club not only provide beautiful scenery but they also make for a more interesting game since they require you to get creative with your shot-making, especially when trying to figure out how to handle some of the tricky carries.

The new smart carts have killed the pace of play on the course! There needs to be more information available on the cart restrictions so those that aren’t familiar don’t slow the play like it was yesterday. I like CL CC but have never experienced a 5 1/2 hour round there before.
Restricting holes 14 and 16 to cart path only with minimal signage is a really bad move. There were Four foursomes on the 14th when we pulled up. It was slow all day but that was ridiculous!
I’ll give it another try when the weather is better but if it is slow the next time, unfortunately I will pass for the future.
I hope yesterday was just a one time bad day. A course ranger may be necessary.

Great shape
I haven't played here in a few years and I'm glad to say it's kept up nice. I played on a soggy day as it rained the day before and though it was cart path only, the ground wasn't too wet. It didn't affect play that much. Most courses and town are too wet to play, but this one was good and the greens were still fast. I'll be back.

Great place to play amazing value!
I’m from Florida but was visiting for the weekend. This place was amazing for the price I paid. Great conditions, the layout was enjoyable and once the temperature heated up made for a phenomenal day. Only issue might have been pace of play but it was a pack Saturday round and as a single I was happily welcomed to play through many times so I really should not complain. Highly recommend.

Great value
Played all of the clubcorp courses lately as a buddy is a member in PTC and course was just as good. For the price point can’t beat it. Was my hc growing up and happy to see that it has returned to shape.

Course is in very good condition, needs work on cart paths. Also should reduce green fees. I recommend you go there to play golf.

First time playing on the new greens. They are very nice. The course has to do something about the slow play. People if you see someone coming to the tee box as your drive off and there’s no one inform of you. Please let the group behind you come Thru. It’s ok

This coarse is beautiful. Have played a few times before but greens and sand traps are the best I’ve played anywhere this year.
