Nice layout
Very nice layout with old designed small greens. Tight fairways specially front nine. Very dry course, could get non pleasant rolls into hasard. Greens are maybe too fast for the condition of the course.
Amazing public course, challenging holes, fast greens
Phenomenal course and experience. There’s maybe 2 green's that had these weeds growing through the grass though it didn’t really affect your putts too bad, every other green was in country club condition.
Highly recommend this place
Muddy
Muddy fairways kinda , greens were fast , bunkers ok , not the best conditions but ok I guess
Nice course will definitely be back. Staff is great!!
Very friendly
Decent course
Not a bad course. The pace of play was pretty bad. Slowed down drastically by a two man. Had my ball stolen by the group behind me as well so I'm not sure if that's normal for the area.
A very nice course but...
This is a very nice local course with interesting layouts. However, the green conditions are not quite up to par. Balls do not roll true at all! The green keepers are not doing a good job in rolling the green surfaces in my humble opinion. Other than that, I really like the course and the Gold Card option they sell which allows you two free games and lots of discounts for all amenities.
GGG
Village Golf Course is an absolute gem. The fairways are in fantastic shape, the greens roll true, and the layout offers just the right amount of challenge to keep things interesting. It’s the kind of course that rewards good shot-making and punishes anything less. However, we had the tee time behind what seemed to be a couple of members. One of the guys in the group kept holding up play, this guy was a human rain delay. We believe his name was “Mike” as his partners kept yelling “hurry up mike!” There were a few holes where Mike would wait for greens to clear before duffing his next shot. Dont be like Mike!!! Get lessons before becoming a member and certainly dont get fitted for clubs anytime soon.
Review from a local guest of a member
Village golf course, or some have coined it “villagio” due to its great conditions, fun layout, and customer service has become the best course of the three in the area. As a guest of a member I frequently visit and get to the benefits my member friends do. The course has true rolling greens and grassed fairways, even some rough for a public course! I have been breaking 80 from the blue tee boxes playing within myself and keeping the ball in play and out of the neighboring houses or businesses, while my friend Mike(isn’t a member) struggles to break 💯. I would highly recommend checking this place out and becoming a member.
Member Review
As a long time member of Village Golf Club, I can honestly say this is the best shape the course has been in. Greens are pure and ROLLING, fairways (im in a lot) very nice and manicured. Tough course that requires a plan otherwise you could end up punching out of trees every hole. If you’re not striking the ball well (like my friend Mike) try a more open course, maybe up north in the Martin County area.
Thank you so much for coming out and enjoying the golf course, we appreciate your business and you writing a review! We appreciate your opinion and thank you for your compliments. We appreciate you recommending the course and hope to see you again soon!
