Madison Green Country Club
About
With over 200 courses in Palm Beach County, architect John Sandford knew he would have to create something special to get attention. At Madison Green Country Club he did just that, creating a unique course that combines many of the best features from local courses, with a few surprises all its own.
Over a thousand palm trees line the course as do over 100 bunkers and 42 acres of shimmering lakes.
One very interesting aspect of the design is that not only does the course get longer as you move back in tees, but the shot angles also get increasingly challenging. This means that the good player not only has further to hit but must also place the ball more accurately on the fairway in order to set himself up for his next shot.
A young teen, his father, his mother and even his grandfather playing together from four different sets of tees will all experience a fair challenge for their respective games that still remains enjoyable!

Golfer Reviews
Getting a lot better
Been playing this course the past few years while on vacation and fortunately it’s headed in the right direction condition wise. Greens slow with some weeds but very puttable. Fairways and rough are very playable and finally was able to play the ball down with fair lies. And the golfnow hot deal is cheaper than going to a driving range
Getting better and better
This has been a great course all along, except for the maintenance conditions for a long time. For the past few weeks, the course condition has been steadily improving. Please keep up the good work to make this the most premium public golf course in the area!
Every time I’ve played Madison, the conditions get better and better. They were in the process of aerification throughout the greens and fairways. The greens were a bit tough to play as with any aerification, the fairways were barely noticeable in term of aerification very playable. I’m excited to play the course in a couple of months to see how the conditions are then. Bunkers could use some work though , grassy and hard lies.
Wonderful layout, minimal upkeep
It had been several years since I played the course always enjoyed the layout, but clearly the upkeep is nonexistent. Bunkers are overgrown. Cart path falling apart fairways are in difficult shape however, the greens were in good shape for the most part. it was an expensive to play, but it’s a shame. The course is in the shape it’s in.
Get it together
A few years ago before I moved here this was my favorite course. It is completely ruined now. Crap fairways, awful greens, and horrible cart paths. They need to shut it down and put some SERIOUS money into this place.
Course closed
I booked online. Arrived at golf course. The golf course posted a notice at Pro-shop "close for maintenance". What was a waste a trip to the Maddison Green Golf Course. Paid online, Golf Now, should refund my money.
Finally getting better again!
This coursework used to be my favorite course due to challenging but interesting course layout, but maintenance conditions have been so poor for a ling time.
I played here again today and found the course conditions to be much improved. The greens are definitely better already and fairways are starting to look better as well. I heard that the ownership changed recently. Please keep up the good work. If properly cared for, this course can easily be one of the most premium courses in this area.
Would not go back
Staff was nice enough. Greens were the best part. Pace of play good.
The fairways and tee boxes were not golf course grass. It was weeds or crabgrass mowed low.
I would never go back.
Also no signs anywhere. Got lost multiple times.
Review
Decent course. Some spotty areas on the greens. Some of the holes were strange. Such as No10for example. But overall a good place to play. Good pace of play.
Course Under Repair!!! Do NOT book a tee time
GolfNow did not mention anything about the fact that Madison Green was in terrible shape (blocks of grass removed from the greens for obvious replacement at some point in the future, fairways that needed and we’re in the process of reseeding) sand traps and waste bunkers that have been neglected for some time.
After we had driven an hour to play, we were informed (for the first time) that the course was “under repair”, so, rather than waste another hour plus driving back and foregoing our golf for the day, we elected to play. Since there were only 6 other people we saw playing, the pace of play was the only benefit. I blame GolfNow for listing Madison Green tee times until the course has their repairs completed. I’m posting this review so other golfers do not have the same disappointing experience as us
