course conditions below their normal standard. the additional rain should bring fairways back to their normal standard. Still a good value even though their not in the best shape.

Could not believe a course like this existed witin the city limits. In an old neighborhood there are no houses on the course. Thought the fairways were generous and the greens a little tighter. The greens were in great shape! Overall the course was in good shape but could use some attention in some of the bunkers. Will definately play again!

Played the first 9 quickly behind another 2-some. The course allowed members to start on the back 9, they would go around us and then we would have to wait on them. that was the only negative, we liked the way the course was laid out.

St. Petersburg Country Club is a beautiful old golf course steeped in tradition and a place I dreamed of playing for some time. I previously was unable to get on the course because it was private and my country club could not even get me on. Recently it allowed limited tee times through golf now and it is as exceptional as I had hoped it was. Thank you golf now!!!!

The help was in great shape and will play again soon.It has no parallel fairways and no homes on the course.It's a great day of golf.

the course is in great shape, the greens are very fast and challending, if you play from the back, it plays pretty long.

This is a very old and historic Private Course with lots of natural beauty. You can tell that this was once the top of the mark. These days the area around it is showing some age and wear but don't let that keep you away. You'll be glad you played this old masterpiece. The food in the clubhouse is reasonable and good, service is friendly. Course condition is very good considering how dry it has been lately. Greens were fairly fast and in good shape. Do yourself a favor and play this one while you can.

Private course but I booked a tee time on Golfnow.com. $70 and worth every penny. If you're a decent golfer, it's well worth spending the money to come here. Not practical for a novice slash hacker to spend $70. Stay at the muni course. For me and my buddies it was awesome! You get what you pay for when it comes to golf courses. I've lived in the St Pete area for 8 months. I've played golf course from Bradenton all the way to Dunedin and Lutz. These were the best greens I've played on so far. It's not even close. Fairways in great shape. Tee boxes I'd give a 7 out of 10. Saw some Gators and other wildlfe too. We had a great time. Coming back very soon.

Nice course a d challenging! Loved the stacked balls at the driving range! Staff was friendly and the course is challenging!

The course was a pleasant surprise. It had been a recent private club but now allows some public play. The members we met were friendly. There were many magnificent water birds throughout the course(ibis, great blue heron, egret, & others). It was a good course with excellent greens.

I would like very much play more often that course

Plays fairly long from the whites, especially in windy conditions. Generous fairways, traps mostly affect long hitters, course rating and slope not consistent with ease of play. I'm told that previously there were many more trees that came into play so higher rating and slope may have been justified.

Course was in great shape - best greens we played all weekend - enough challenge for us Chicago duffers looking to shake off the winter snow. We had the place to ourselves due to the fifty degree weather - played 18 holes under three hours-

Partner and I were paired up with another twosome. Started on time and played course in 3 hrs 15 min very comfortably. Course in excellent condition , greens a little slow but in great condition

At first when we drove up we thought there was something wrong with the greens, but after making it to the putting green we found out that they rolled very true and quick. Greens are the best part about this course. It's very playable with not alot of trouble. Would def play here again.

Excellent conditions, one of the best in the area. Friendly staff, and fellow golfers.

As you drive into this area of i275, you start to think, where am I going? First look of Club is all a bit run down, but do not let this dissuade you. Course is well established, in great condition (fairways very lush!) and greens rolling smoothly. Pace of play was good too: all in all, a great morning's golf!

Wonderfull layout

Room to hit away on drives. True, fast greens. Pace of play was great for a Saturday morning. Highly recommended.
