Course was in good shape - only down side was the pace of play.

Highest value course in the area!
Love this place. Not only is the course always in great shape but the staff is by far the nicest in town. I have played here at least 15 times in the past few years and am always excited to go back.
Depending on the tees you choose to play from and the amount of wind whipping around that day, this course can range from friendly to beastly (in a good way). An awesome links style course that has extremely competitive rates (my round cost me $18. Yes, for 18 holes and a cart.). You definitely shouldn't pass up playing here if you get the chance.
WOW!!
I had the opportunity to play this course yesterday and all I can say is WOW.
I didn't realize how nice this course was. It is easily among the nicest in the St. Louis area.
Among the links style courses, this one is definitely up there with Gatteway. I can't wait to play here again.
I hope the people who live out west down the 44 corridor realize how nice they've got it. That little cluster of golf courses is awesome!!!
Course is a good links style format
The course was in good shape considering the recent cold and rainy weather.
Course was in great shape. Great value!!
You could tell that they have spent a great deal of time getting the course ready for the season, and it is in great shape. New tees on the front nine par 3's(3 and 5) has made them more difficult.
Challenging course but beautiful layout
Difficult course from the Tips however, keep it in play and able to hit long irons you'll do well. The greens are true to the read. One of the most challenging/longest courses I've play. I will make the trip again, it's well worth it.
Fun
Links style. Great setting. Fun day! It is really great to play throughout the pevely valley.
Not lady friendly.....
My wife and I played Sat (approx 1:30 tee time) with another couple. Wind conditions were difficult even for the best golfer. After we finished the 3rd hole a par 3 against the wind which we waited on the group in front to clear and were about to hit on the par 5. An individual (don't know if he even worked at the course) in a cart pulled up and said "someone in the clubhouse called and told him we had to pick up the pace". Granted we were out of position by 1 shot but still it was completely uncalled for. The ladies in the group played well considering the windy conditions and we waited to play a lot of shots because the group in front of us couldn't keep pace with the group in front of them. Yet they never went and warned that group and they had an entire hole open in front of them. Go figure!
Great linx experience
Winds gusted up to 40mph. Being a linx course exposed to the weather, shots had to be thought out. If you play from the proper skill level tee boxes, fairway traps and lateral creeks need to be accounted for. There is no grip and rip off the tee without a high probability of reaching a hazard. The course was in okay condition .... but it's only mid April. It was a fun day.
Great to get out after Winter
The course was in great shape especially considering the long Winter & all the wetness from the recent snow. The front nine played in 1 1/2 hours, but the back was jammed up so took over 2 hrs, but less than 4 hrs all together so not bad.
Always well maintained, quick, great value in St. Louis area
Always well maintained, quick, great value in St. Louis area, good course for walkers
The back 9 holes have always been a challenge.
I enjoy playing this course for its challenge on the back 9. Traps seem always to be at the point where my drives end. Greens are well kept.
The staff and course maintanence as always very good
Even though this is wintertime play, the course is in graet shape and as always a bit chanllegening
Friendly staff and great course
The staff was very friendly and the course was in great shape for the time of year. I can only imagine how good it will look in season
Don't miss this coarse!
This is a really nice coarse and we were able to book it for a great price. We cancelled with another coarse that we were planning on playing. It was windy the day we played and made it a very challenging.
The course is in great shape for this time of year, great greens
It is a well kept, long course with challenging greens and was really fun to play.
Fun Course
This is a fun course with holes that have shared greens. It is a fun place to play. Pevely Farms and Crescent Farms are close by and I would rate Aberdeen in the middle. Proshop is small. Beware if you are an afternoon player like I am that high school and college golf teams walk the course and that resulted in slow play.
