Course is well maintained. Fairways are narrow enough with challenging traps and rough.
Great Layout! Great staff
I got a flat tire on the way there and was 30 minutes late for my tee time, but staff was willing to fit me and my buddy in about 45 minutes after my scheduled tee time. Course was in good shape except for some bare spots in fairways (most of which looked like natural hazards) and some rough spots on some greens (most greens were in great shape though). Bunkers were some of the best bunkers I’ve seen in STL area which was amazing to see, and were located all throughout the course. Overall great experience and will likely be my go-to course from here on out.
Disappointed
First off the employees were ok. The ones we saw.
No marshal to keep the pace of play moving. The group in front of us was so slow we waited on every hole. Turns out they had a first time player. That's when a marshal would have helped. They had water containers on a lot of holes BUT they were empty. I've played here a few times and I don't believe I will ever go back.

Great fun. Great conditions. Great greens. Holes are close together, had quite a few other golfers wander into our fairways. Would definitely play again.

Aberdeen is a great local course that is reasonable priced, very well maintained with lush fairways and healthy greens!

Aberdeen Golf Course
Aberdeen is much easier to play than Crescent or Pevely. Very flat golf course, but interesting enough to keep you intrigued.
Disappointed
I have played this course over 20 times. This round was by far the worst I have seen the course condition. The fairways had dirt patches and the traps were dirt and not sand. I will say the staff was great. I messed up and thought I booked for Saturday but really I booked Friday. They honored my tee time even though they did not have to. This was one of my favorite courses in STL, but won't be back at least this year.
The course was in terrible shape. Weeds everywhere on the zoysia fairways. Grass not mowed, ground under repair all over the place, sand deposits on greens, tee boxes littered with so many broken tees it looked like someone just dumped bags of broken tees
Save your money!
