Fun but marginally maintained
Friendly staff. Decent layout. Tee boxes awful. Greens badly pockmarked. Even animal markings were visible on some greens. Deep ball marks everywhere. Perhaps recent heavy rains have prevented needed work. The course is playable if the fee is reasonable, but other options should be explored if available.
Overpriced For Having Awful Conditions
Just think, I payed $72 for playing a course with the following conditions...
Most tee boxes were a mixture of dirt and weeds. The ground was so hard, you could not get a tee in the ground on many of the tee boxes.
The fairways were a mess. So many areas that were dead grass or dirt.
The greens were overwatered. Every ball mark left a an unsightly black smudge on the greens. The greens were extremely slow.
The bunkers did not have enough sand in them.
On one of the hottest days of the year (96 degrees) - no beverage cart.
On the back nine, numerous fairways edges were all dirt.
Hole 15. The middle of the fairway was roped off because of soggy conditions.
I last played Aberbeen in 2021 and my comments were this course has really slipped. Hard to believe, it has slipped even more. This course should be embarrassed for charging $72 for these conditions.
You should not play Aberdeen.
Terrible condition...way over-priced
I can't believe they are getting away with charging $69 for this piece of crap course.
