Renditions Golf Course

Course was great, played because of reduced rate with hot deal. I know this is an expensive course normally and perhaps justified .... However, the ball marks on the greens MUST be fixed. The staff should perhaps address since players are not.

60 degree and no rain, perfect conditions ... Yet cart path only? Ridiculous. That slows people up a lot!!!

Curious about playing this top rated course in the off season? You won't be disappointed. Sure it's February in Maryland and so the grass isn't the greenest but I enjoyed my round immensely. There are a few areas that are a little bit wet so you just move your ball a few feet to get onto firm footing. The pace of play was good and the sand traps were like powder so that was a nice change of pace. The greens are fast and a little tricky to read but that makes the experience more fun. You won't be disappointed if you play here. As a matter of fact I just booked my next round.

I always look for Hot Deals and found one here for $30. Can't beat that price anytime! Found out when we got to the course that it was cart path only. Thus the price made sense. Is what it is. I play this course 5-6 times a year and never have a bad day. Challenging course with fun holes to bet with your buddies. Will always come back.

The course was in good shape after 2 days of rain.

Slow play is always a problem here. You can call for a ranger…they’ll say they’ll send one…but they will not. The desire here is to pack as many golfers on the course as possible and pace of play is not a concern whatsoever. The course is nice. The conditions are usually good. It’s a fun course to play. But be prepared to wait. And don’t bother calling for a ranger…they don’t care about slow play.

This course is more like a Novelty it's a 107 to play and the golf carts had duct tape on the seats... no GPS And the course was an OK shape

I've played here 6-7 times. Normally the staff is very welcoming. Today, they weren't as warm as usual. the Marshall was on us all day even though we played at a decent pace. It seemed like there was an outing that they were rushing people for. The guys I played with were from out of town, and caught off guard by the Marshall. I think the staff needed our cart for the outing and they rushed us off at the end. I normally give a tip, but when the guy offered to clean my clubs, I didn't feel welcome and declined.

There was a grounds staff with a blue shirt who kept interrupting our round. He would get in the way, turn on the sprinklers, and stand on the green. When we asked him why he would not at least wait for us to hit, he said he did not care. Is there a rule for this situation? It ruined a couple of holes for us.

Having not played the actual holes that Renditions have recreated did we just do so? The Leaderboard was a nice touch. Rae’s Creek wasn’t hard., bogeyed it! But really it was an adventure. Having the concession stand in the middle course nice touch. Everyone passes it 3 times. Doubt that I will go back for a second round.

The greens looked liked they were bombed by all the range balls. People REPAIR YOUR BALLMARKS!

Course management should be repairing what’s not. It was interesting.

Hot day. Greens rolled fast. Course overall very good condition. Some divots not filled but greens were 8/10 condition. Very good for a public course.

My only problem is $12 for a bucket of range balls.

Had a great experience starting at the bag drop where the staff knew my name and readily retrieved my clubs from my car. Every single interaction with staff were all excellent.

The course designers created something special with the background story of every hole, the major PGA events played at the course source, and many references to greats:Jones, Hogan, Palmer, and Nicklaus to name a few.

The visual and spiritual impact is surprising. The azaleas and magnolias at amen corner just represent the attention to detail that is in the Rendition DNA and lineage.

The Pro Shop is well inventoried and the pub style grill puts out great food. Staff were incredibly friendly and courteous.

Advice I received the day I played was this:

-The course is difficult

-The greens are fast

- The greens are tricky so never land above the hole

Bottom line…I waited 5 years to play this course and it was worth the wait! Just enough challenge and exactly the right amount of respect for the game.

Really cool to see holes we've watched on TV, was visiting from NJ will be back for sure.

No one manages pace of play, lots of ground under repair, and the greens look like the surface of the moon. Wouldn’t recommend as a course that charges $100.
