Coyote Springs Golf Club (previously known as Coyote Springs - The Chase Course) is located less than one hour from the Las Vegas Strip and just 45 minutes from Mesquite, Nevada. This Jack Nicklaus Signature Course is highly regarded as a must-play by Vegas golf aficionados. The course's stunning setting is sometimes referred to as "nature's cradle" since it's situated in a verdant valley completely surrounded by majestic mountains and peaks. While the scenery may be beautiful, don't let it distract you from the golf course's many challenges. Water and bunkers await you at almost every turn. One of the most memorable holes is the par-5 second, whose bunkers at the second landing area will force you to think carefully about how to approach the Augusta-like green. In addition to the golf course, Coyote Springs offers one of the largest practice facilities in the country. This 19-acre facility includes 13 target greens and a short game area for pitching, chipping, and bunker practice.

Very poor

Looked forward to playing course after talking to others who had played course in past. Was shocked when I saw condition of greens and over all course condition, greens were almost unplayable, lots of bare spots with sand, very slow and bumpy. I have played several courses off golf now in vegas area for around $40.00 that were much better in there condition. Under current condition courses is a $40.00 to $50.00 course, very unhappy with its current condition!

Great course, very poor green conditions.

I have visited this course a number of times and it has always been in great condition. On this visit tha greens were in terrible, almost unplayable condition. Although this occurs, there was no warning that the greens were in awful shape and the price of $67.00 was way too much for the course being in this condition. Had the rate been lowered and the players informed of the green condition I would have had no problem. This is a somewhat typical approach used by some courses during overseeding which turns players away.

I look forward to playing here again next time i'm in town!

Sweet course design! Beautiful, each hole is unique and different. Nicklaus is a brilliant designer- he shows you where to go and how to play the hole from the tee box without designing an "easy" course. Setup properly for all levels to play from all distances and enjoy it equally. Best part about Nicklaus courses are that NO good shots are penalized. You did it again Jack- great work!

Beautiful and challenging

This is a 45-50 minute drive from Las Vegas and worth every bit of it.
The course is so beautiful that I just had to bring my camera when we came back. We probably would have finished in less than 4 hours, but I just had to stop and take some pictures.
The fairways are nicer than greens at some courses!
Be aware, though....the course brings a new meaning to "target Golf" There's plenty of sand and water on the course to make it interesting..
It would be unfair to praise the course and not mention the staff......they were all super friendly. Even the grounds crew were friendly!
I have dreams of going back and conquering this course!

Great course

Excellent course. Amazing condition. Worth the drive from Vegas. Can't wait to play again.

Bring some extra balls its a very tough and long course especially if you play it from the tips! As tough as anything I've ever played including a few tour stops.

Extremely professional, competent, and friendly staff the service was the level of any good country club despite this being a brand new course (no permanent clubhouse or anything built in the development yet.)

A pleasant surprise.

This course is a ways off the beaten path but well worth the drive and time. Upon arrival, quaint little club house with a very friendly staff. I felt very welcomed. On our way to the practice area and the first tee, we went thru some vacant areas of nothing but desert and rock which made me wonder about what kind of shape the course would be in. I found one of the BEST golf courses I have ever played! Fairways were the best, greens were immaculate, views were stunning, water features were spectacular, and the pace of play was absolutely the best.(it was like your own private course.)

Tough Course!

Wow! What a great golf experience! The course was immaculate. They had cold bottled water always available. This was like playing two rounds of golf in one.....first was to get to the green, then the second game was figuring out how to get in the cup in 2 strokes. Most difficult greens I've ever encountered. But were they perfect! Just really fast and nothing flat about them. Overall, great golf experience and well worth the trip.

Beautiful Course

Everything about this course was fantastic. It's a shame you can't book it on golfnow.com anymore. It's a bit pricey to play without deals ($100+ per round) but if money isn't an issue, play this course.
