About
Waikele Country Club sprawls across the gently sloping landscape of Waipio, just west of Waikiki. The golf course overlooks Pearl Harbor with views stretching to Diamond Head. The layout features rolling fairways and undulating greens, which are accented with strategically placed bunkers. Ted Robinson designed the course, incorporating his signature water features throughout. Keeping the ball in play off the tee is integral to scoring well on this layout. The fourth hole is a short par 4 that is known for being one of the course's greatest challenges. It plays downwind, requiring a skillful lay-up off the tee in order to set up the short-iron approach to the two-tiered green that is protected by a pond. On Waikele Country Club's back nine, the 17th is another favorite hole amongst players. Beginning on an elevated tee, the hole plays to a deep, narrow green with water and a small sand bunker to the front.

Very vanilla
Average course, greens looked like they needed to be cut, bunkers intakes, no on course food or drinks and nobody monitoring pace of play. One group was taking 25 minutes per hole minimum. From a design perspective, there wasn’t anything interesting or exciting going on either. Glad I didn’t pay the full rate.
Amazing round of golf
Enjoyed our round of golf today. Course was in great shape with beautiful scenery throughout our round. The staff were exceptionally friendly and even able to get us out prior to our scheduled tee time. Only negative was the pace of play slowed now significantly on last four holes. Would definitely play this course again.
Fun in the Sun
Was lucky enough to have a work trip to Honolulu with a few extra days and took in a round at Waikele. Good decision, the course is well laid out, wide and open enough to feel forgiving, yet enough deep bunkers and gnarly rough to still punish you for offline shots. The wind throws in some additional challenges that remind you that this isn’t always paradise. The staff and members were all super friendly. I’d go back in a heartbeat!
Best Course on Island
This course was perfect for a golf fan. Beautiful course with water all around. Easy to tell course is kept well and staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Best experience I’ve had in island.
Great course!
I am an active duty Marine and I took a fellow Marine on this course on Father's day. Immediately we were impressed with how beautiful the course was set up. $75 resident rate was well worth the price of admission. Well designed course with beautiful views. Will definitely come back again!
