Sebastian Municipal Golf Course

I didn’t get to finish.. their were people playing everywhere skipping holes. Jumping in front of me. And course was soaked.

Nice easy course for the high handicap golfer which most of us are. Fairways and greens are in great shape. The greens are fast but fair. It was a quiet morning but pace of play was good. Finished 18 in 4 hours.

Greens are much better than last year. Redone, replaced, no comparison. Played in just under 4 hours, no complaints there. All in all, a perfectly acceptable muni course. Very cool to be able to watch skydivers from adjacent airport while playing.

Liked the open fairways. Just enough sand and water to test your skills. Would play there again.

Arriving early for our tee time we were informed the driving range was closed. After completing the front nine, we were heading for the tenth tee box when we were informed the back nine were closed. It would have been nice if they had informed us earlier; even on our arrival and check in we were not told anything about the back nine being closed sed.

Nice course. Easier than some in the area but challenging enough for our level of golf. Some of the greens were unbelievably hard and one was impossible. Put the ball to within inches of the hole only for it to roll back 6 or 8 feet. Pace of play was good on a busy morning. The restaurant is nice and the staff are friendly. We had hot wings and Irish nachos and they were both excellent.

The layout and fairways were good, but the greens were terrible. probably won't play there again. Too many other GOOD courses around

This course looks amazing on paper and definitely inviting through Golf Now. How they can charge $50 for a course that should be closed due to the shape of the greens is beyond me. I guess it is the only game in town and that is why they are ripping off the public that lives there. We live just north about 30 min. read so many reviews and see the pictures on Golf Now and really wanted to play this course.

The greens are bumpy, worn through, patches all over them. When you can't make a one foot putt because of the bumps and pits. I mean come on. You can't putt on them. It's like trying to putt on gravel. I wouldn't pay to play this course that is how bad they are. It's embarrassing that no one at the clubhouse warned us. Unless these people have never seen a real golf course that is the only way that they can't feel guilty charging people to play here. It's robbery.The guy we got paired with said they have been talking about replacing the greens for years. This is a municipal golf course run by the City of Sebastian. Completely embarrassing and the course should be closed. The poor folks that live in the area have no other golf courses unless they drive north or south by 30-45 minutes.

Sebastian Municipal golf course was in terrible condition in all aspects. First and foremost, the greens were ragged, bumpy, and in need of full replacement. I have played over thirty golf courses in Florida and the greens rate the worst that I have seen. The tee boxes, fairways, and rough were below average. The practice green and chipping areas were inadequate and in terrible shape. The staff was not friendly and we were charged for cups of water! The overall experience was a 1 out of ten. Don't bother with this cow pasture.

Found the course to be in good shape even with the lack of rain in the area The staff was very friendly and helpful I enjoyed the course and will play it again

My husband and I played this course for the first time and actually enjoyed it so much we're going back in 2 days to play again. The staff in pro shop and the restaurant were very helpful and nice. But don't expect anyone to help unload your golf bags and then at end of your round to clean your clubs and reload you clubs in your car! Although there were 2 men jockeying the carts around and cleaning them alittle, neither one offered help!

We played 3 times so far while we are visiting. the price is right. It has a range, along with a pitching and putting area.

The conditions are not what you would find on a premier course, but good enough to have fun. great value for the money.
