Sebastian Municipal Golf Course

Very enjoyable round of golf with a good friend I not played with for several years. iGolf phone app was very helpful in determining yardages for a course I had not played in over 10 years. Pace of play was very reasonable for a busy morning. Excellent deal on the costs using GolfNow -- $17 for 18 holes (cart included). Will look at this again the next trip to Florida.

The Sebastian Golf Course is in amazing condition and a fun and challenging course. The weather was great, we had no wait and no one was behind us pushing us along. What a great day of golf.

We booked a foursome through golfnow.com. When we got to the course they would not honor the booking even though we had a conformation from the course and golfnow.com. Very embarrassing! We did play the course after taking a tee time later than the original but they allow so many players on the course we had to wait at each tee. Started at 12:00, finished after 5:00

Very dry course conditions. No GPS on carts. No rangers on course to speed up play. Could be a good course if it was better maintained.

It wasn't a problem but they gave us a teetime of 11:54 and I had 11:47 on the confimation email. Other than that we had a nice time and the course was in good condition.

Would be difficult to walk 18 due to long distance between 9 and 10

Only problem was lack of a ranger to manage pace. Also, on one hole the maintenance man was putting down fertilizer on the green while I was putting.

I enjoyed the easy flow of the course, fairways wide and flat leaving mainly good lies, although lots of rough and water to challenge off line shots. The greens are a good size and run very fast with lots of grain to challenge the seemingly easier putts. Being adjacent to the airport made between shots interesting, as lots of takeoffs and landings with parachuting making the skies full of colour. Somewhat distracting, but interesting.

I truly enjoyed this course. It provides enough of a challenge with it's many water holes that require a strategic shot off of the tee. Either play it safe and bail out from the water side, or go for it too leave a short iron to the greens.
The par 3 's can be tricky depending on the placement of the hole/cup.
An over all good course in very good condition.

i like having less woods and more water to deal with. You know right off if it's still in play.

My friends & I played the golf course and enjoyed it very much. The staff was very friendly & the course conditions were great. I totally recommend to play this course. We played other courses in the area and by far this was the best.
