course was Awesome
course is in great shape, greens where fast But not too
fast. No ridiculous greens where the ball runs off the green. just a nice playable course that everyone can have
fun with. My partner and I are seniors. We thought there
was a lot of walking.
Great mix of golf holes. 18 great finishing hole. The greens were fantastic. Be back again
Great Course
Played Deer Run at Sun N Lakes and was very pleased with the course conditions. The greens were immaculate and made putting less stressful.. Overall course conditions were very good. Weather was challenging as major thunderstorms were moving around the area and rain finally cut short our round. The clubhouse restaurant is top notch, and we enjoyed a great lunch and drinks for a very reasonable price. Will definitely play again.
Great Layout! Fun track!
I played on a rainy weekday but the course held up well in a steady rain. Greens were running fast and smooth. Fairways were nice. A few of the Tee boxes were a little chewed up and recently punched but overall didn’t effect shots. Hope to play this course again but it’s a little too far away from Lakeland.
Great shape
The course is in great shape, except for the fringe around the greens where they aerated. Both Sun N Lake courses are always in good shape. With the fringe, being aerated, it made it difficult to chip around in Greens, but it’s getting to that time of the year where they’re going to start aerating courses.
Much improved course
First of all I didn’t get to play Turtle Run. Was told that GolfNow made a mistake. Turtle had a shotgun tournament on it. Haven’t played Deer in about two years because it was closed down for maintenance. Course was in great shape. Turtle still the better course but Deer has come a long ways.
Deer Run
It was the first time playing this course after many times at turtle run. The back 9 holes was more difficult than the front . Course conditions were excellent and we are looking forward to returning again soon.

it was fun, most organized course ever played on . they dont start all on 1 or 10 they spread ya out and no waiting behind people , awesome, i hate waiting
Course in ok shape greens healthy but on the slow side tees just ok
