Good Course
Good course, overall condition was good. Played from the blues and tee boxes good. Green where soft and faster than expected. A little annoyed of the pin placements being so close (1 -2 yards) from the edges. New carts where really SLOW! Staff friendly but slow as well. The bar/snacks area being renovated so everyone had to go thru main check in/out. People trying to check in ad others making the turn really makes it congested on what appeared to be a slow day. Played 18 holes in about 3 H 30 M!

Enjoyable Round
From a friendly check-in process to the final hole, you will feel welcomed at this course. Grounds and greenskeeper have over 30 years experience at this course and it shows. Fairways give a great lie and greens roll true with some pace. Several tee boxes need to be rotated in the mid-day to maintain consistency. I found those working the pro shop to be personable and very willing to make my round a success. Definitely will be back to play this one very soon!!

Fun country course!
Fairways and greens were in good condition, tee boxes were not…. White and Red. Most of the greens were in above average condition given the recent heat wave…ran out pretty well! The layout will challenge most folks new to the course…. Some interesting water, ravines, and overhanging, we’ll placed, trees. Back nine is more forgiving! Facility renovations underway, nice deck still open!

Just ok
Course was in fair shape. Tee boxes we very bad, lots of weeds and tee markers haven’t been moved in a while. Played behind two guys that had their 8 or 9 year old kids driving the carts. They were slow and could care less about us having to wait. No marshal on the course. Called club house and they did nothing. Overall just a good practice round for the GolfNow $26 discount price.

Enjoyable track!
Played this course while traveling through the area. All I can say is this is a hidden gem! Friendly guy in the clubhouse (can’t remover his name, but he was ex military). Great layout, course was in excellent condition, and had the place practically to ourselves. The course is challenging, but not intimidating. Just wish I lived closer, definitely recommend this course.

Probably my new favorite course!
Man, the staff is next to none. They’re accommodating l, friendly, and swift . I’ve played here roughly 3-4 times in the past month or so and the course has been in impeccable shape . Great course for beginners and just challenging enough on the greens intermediate players. Even on the weekends the pace of play is fast

Not great
Played here several times this year, and the course was bad at the beginnng and keeps getting worse and worse. They finally repainted the tee box markers, nothing like counting the markers to make sure you are hitting from the right one. The greens have some kind of broadleaf growth, the divot markings are everywhere and bad enough to pop the ball straight up in the air and stop in the divot. I missed 3 putts because of them. The tee box's looked like it was the rough, hadn't been mowed in quite a while. One was complete sand, the group behind us didn't bother to line up a putt, I watched them 4 putt on every green, the looked like it was a putt-putt course then complained we weren't playing fast enough. Don't want to sound like I'm complaining, but this is the sister course to Bear Creek and it's almost the exact same. I will play the other Warrenton course from here on out.

Fun course to play
Country Lakes was a really neat layout and fun course to play.. Several blind tea shots but forgiving fairways. Greens were holding great and rolling good. Staff was friendly. Definitely would play again.

Too many weeds
Weeds everywhere and tee boxes where below average. And you don’t save anything by booking with golf now after fees and taxes it almost was same price as booking online with course
