Country Lakes
Paid for 18 holes of golf. Played 12 holes and they put out a shot gun tournament of 50 people in front of me. Went back to the clubhouse and they told me I could just wait and play behind them. The manager offered me a rain check, only to inform me that I booked thru Golf Now so he couldn’t. He said to contact Golf Now they might be able to do something. Golf Now had nothing to do with the managers poor planning, and not blocking the last 6 holes. Very disappointed with their decision and the response they gave me.
Where’s the marshal
1st day of great weather so the course was booked. There was no course marshal so a 3 1/2 hour round took almost 4 1/2 hours. There was a group of 6 playing together, but 2 different tee boxes. 3 men and 3 women. Thank god the women knew how to play. Can’t say that about the men in the group.
I repaired divots on every green that were ignored by players ahead of me. There was a lot of rain the day before and the designated tee areas were getting fairly muddy and it wasn’t even noon yet.
It’s a very fun course to play normally. I can’t emphasize enough that a course marshal should have been there to keep the flow smoother.
And normally there is good ice water on different location. On the day I played it was just tap water. No ice was ever added.
A good value for the money.
I wish this course was closer to home (St. Louis) so I could play it more oftern
Greens were good.
Front 9 fairways and tee boxes in really poor condition. Back 9 was better. Pace of play was horrible! Waited on every tee box. Luckily there were lots of trees to escape the heat.
Pretty course with too many blind shots
The course wasn’t too difficult with generous fairways and larger greens. One hole had a very sharp dogleg with a blind water hazard long and protecting a very small green. You need course knowledge because there are way too many blind tee shots for my liking. I had a good time with my son and we shot good scores despite not knowing where our tee shots were going.

The course was in excellent condition the food was great the employees always happy to help you. Just need to keep the pace of play going!
