Worst course played
This has to be the worst course I have played. Staff is very rude and inconsiderate and they overbook the tee times and say the 5 hour round is normal. The person running the course told us to come out at 6am if you want a quicker pace rather than 820. Multiple groups at the box waiting and the fairways are harder than concrete. Tee boxes are beat up and the whole course is yellow. Do not waste your time or money.
Could be nice
If only the owners would invest in this course it could be 5 star. They do the best with what they have. There are better courses in the area in better shape.
hot and very dry
First 9 holes pace of play good. very hot with dry fairways with good roll distance. Upon making the turn a very very slow 4 some jumped in at hole 10. there pace of play was horrible and due to their skill level pace was at almost standstill waiting on every shot. the landscaper was mowing every tee box as we were waiting on him to finish so we could tee off. Finally on the tee box on 15 we skipped this hole to get in front of the slow guys, It was wide open rest of the round and fortunately we were able to play hole 15 after we played 17. we had no problems teeing off on 18 as slow players were barely visible on 17 as we teed off on 18. Ranger would be nice to speed up play
Good course… Great Price
This course is good with plenty of challenges. Greens are a bit hard and fast, but true at several courses so far this year. Amenities are sparse, but course taken care of pretty well.
Best course in the area for price and playability.
No thanks
The course layout is confusing enough, and the fact that not all the tee boxes are numbered adds to the confusion for a first time visitor. There are no yardage markers to be found out on the couse, so you will need a golf app or a range finder. All in all the condition of the course was just ok, very hard and dry. I will not play here again.
Well maintained course
The course was well maintained. Littler confusing between holes 11-14 but overall a nice course
Great Price
$23 for 18 and a cart, the deal cant be beat. Course is in decent shape, greens could use some watering because theyre faster than augusta, decent carts. If you’re expecting tpc quality, youll be disappointed….but for a fun, relaxing afternoon of low-stakes, high handicap golf, chapel hill is the place for you.
Fun
It is a fun course. There are styling par fives. It was the middle of the week so it wasn’t crowded.
