Foxford Hills Golf Club

Very pretty course, challenging layout. Bunkers could use minor touchup for the money. 17th par 3 requires a low punch tee shot from black tees because of overhanging limbs... not sure if this is intentional design but it certainly was fun.

I can only tell you if you do not make an effort this year to play Foxford in Cary you will miss one of the better public tracks in this area!

Over 7000 yards from the tips and 6600 yards from the Golds is a true test!

Each hole is unique as well as individually named

It was a great way to get the new season started!

The price has gone up a little over the past 2 years but definitely overall still worth the $. The course is always in prime condition the layout is great very spread out and the staff is the friendliest around. You won't be disappointed!

Foxford Hills is a well maintained and designed course. The various tee boxes allow for players of all skill levels to enjoy playing there.

My most recent round was right before Thanksgiving and there had been rain earlier in the week. I was surprised to see that carts were allowed, but the course was in great shape for this time of year. The young lady in the pro shop was very pleasant and did her job quickly and correctly.

I hadn't played this course in a couple of years, but I will definitely be going back next summer.

Absolutely gorgeous course. Extremely well-kept and the layout is challenging, but not too difficult. I had forgotten how much I love this course. Extreme value for the money. Highly recommended.

A gem of course in the NW suburbs. Really nice layout and challenging. Greens hold. Some nice elevation change on holes.

Greens are nice...but there are a couple that seemed were faster than others.

Course was in great condition. Would recommend it...great course for the price.

This course is probably one of the most beautiful courses in Illinois the price is always right very very friendly staff there's not much you can really complain about if anything the drive to the course but once you get there it is well worth it no matter where you coming from

This course is one of my favorites. Unfortunately people no longer repair hallmarks anymore. Greens were just ok. The sand traps were also in really poor shape. The staff here is awesome, it makes for a nice atmosphere. The pace of play wasn't bad on the front but when we made the turn we waited on Every shot.

So nice we had to return for a second round.

Course was in excellent condition and we enjoyed our round thoroughly. A 45 minute drive well worth the effort.

My son and I played Foxford Hills last Sunday and the condition of the greens and bunkers was very disappointing and much different than our past visits. Many of the greens were aerated recently, but there didn't appear to be any top dressing applied (or perhaps it had washed away)? The result was very bumpy surfaces all around. I would only lay a portion of the blame on the course maintenance staff, as I have never seen so many ball and spike marks in my life! I find it disturbing how many playesr have total disregard for their ball marks, step on cups,drag their feet on wet greens and on this day, leave rakes in the bunker right next to where they played their bunker shot from and neglect to rake it! Our tee time was just after noon and it seemed like there was three days worth of divots on par 3 tees and seemingly at the very least 10-15 huge ball marks on every green. Sorry not to recommend this track as it is a nice layout with some really interesting holes. The conditions were really pretty bad, however!
