Heritage Hill Golf Club

We really enjoy this place, as the layout and views are superb. We will definitely be back; however, I'd really like to see a few on-course management changes to speed up the pace of play. It took us a little over 4 1/2 hours to play. Some folks think that's great but each instance might be different. In our case, 3 players who play fairly quickly. The course was not overly full, but we got caught behind a twosome which included a beginner and the partner was providing instruction. On the back we finally saw part of the dilemma, as there was a 6-some, a twosome, a single and a twosome. We'll still be back, but it would be nice to prevent anything more than a 4-some, or a 5-some with some strict instructions to let folks thru, never a 6-some, and join groups up so that singles and doubles on the weekend don't slow things down. I still can't complain too much about a 4 1/2 hour round, but it could have been much quicker. Great course, however.

This course was designed by Doug Beach who also worked for Jack Nicklaus as his top designer when they did Valhalla in 1984. We played Valhalla and then played Heritage Hills and you can see the similarities in layout. It's a beautiful track combining hills, meadows and dense tree lined fairways. We paid $59 to play here and $275 to play Valhalla. It's tremendous value for your dollar. It's 25 minutes from downtown Louisville and way worth the effort to play this course.

You might as well play it on a course like this one. Zoysia fairways, beautifully designed, and well maintained. Used Golf Now and found deals for $25-30 dollars with cart. Course is challenging but fair.

My favorite public course in the Louisville area by far. Beautiful KY scenery, challenging and fun course, well maintained, nice amentities, very friendly staff, easy access from I-65 interstate, 20 minutes from SDF airport - if you have a long layover this place is worth the trip.

Very good course with plenty of challenges. Lives up to its reputation.

This is nicest golf courses there is in the area sometimes overpriced when we played it was wet cartpath only and it was tiresome a lot of walking but yet a great golf course

Very impressed with the conditions of the course especially considering the rain we've had recently. The ONLY drawback was cartpath only. So, rrally, nothing but good things to say about this beautifully laid out, wide open course.

The pin placements were difficult, which made for a great round. Greens rolled true.

Course is in fantastic shape. Greens are rolling very well for February. Fun course, you can bomb it off the tee. Greens are well protected and have a decent amount of undulation, so accuracy is at a premium to score. Good luck on #11.

For January, the course was in excellent condition. Greens rolled true and fairly fast. Layout is outstanding, and plays very fair for any skill level. 5 tee boxes per tee. Very friendly staff.

a great golf course greens was in good shape

we were met with a cart. great practice range. got us out 40 minutes sooner. the course was in great shape. the layout was not boring to say the least. generous fairways,the rough was not exceptionally long,and there was plenty of sand. the greens were undulating and somewhat fast for me. they had a great bar and I got a great looking sweater for a very good price. everyone was friendly and helpful. all in all a very good day.
