Heritage Hill Golf Club

I’ve played this course many times. The layout is fun and challenging. The overall condition of the course was good considering how late in the season it is. However, the bunkers were terrible. They are not maintained and are more rocky dirt than sand. They are non-playable. Additionally, the greens are pretty chewed up and shaggy. This course’s greens are usually fast and impeccable, but were disappointing today. It will not stop me from coming back. I highly recommend this course.

Love to play this course. Every hole is breathtaking and well maintained. That is except for the greens. Due to the high traffic, the greens are pretty beat up. I wish every golfer would fix 2 divots when they reach the green. Maybe the course superintendent could send some one out to fix the greens daily. Other than that, my favorite course.

Great golf course very scenic. I’m not sure if people are to lazy to bend over and fix ball marks or if they think they never leave one. Only problem with this course is people need to help take care of the greens if everyone fixed their ball mark and one other there would never be any unfixed. Overall a great track to play if your in the Louisville area top notch fairways and tee boxes tour quality layout.

I was traveling through KY and stopped by this course based on the reviews. The course was in great shape and the layout was magnificent. Every hole was really well designed. I tee'd off at 3:30 on a Sunday and was paired with 3 other guys. We waited on every shot and I had to leave the course after 15 holes. At that point we had already played 4.5 hours. I am not sure if the other guys were even able to finish. If they just had a marshal drive around and keep everyone on pace, it would have been a 5+ star review for me. As I drove to the clubhouse, I found the culprits. A foursome of 4 bad golfers who had a 1.5 hole opening in front of them. Just sad.

Terrific course layout...fairways and tee boxes are in good shape. Greens were a bit beat up - not the course's issue...negligence by players. Make a pitch mark, fix two more...

Will be back!

Great, challenging lay out – always a beautiful day on this golf course!

This is one of the best, maybe the best semi private course in the Louisville area. I'd normally give this course a 5, but the greens are a bit beaten up, and greenside bunkers needed serious raking. Easily corrected. Fairways are in excellent shape. the staff is very customer oriented.This day we were behind a mini scramble and it was a 445 hr round. Yes, I'd definitely make this part of my course rotation !

This has always been a great Course to play when we come into town. Today’s round was okay, with the greens bearing many ball marks where people had not repaired and the back no be was all bottlenecked with slow play and it was very warm out! Made for sort of a miserable round. I did see a ranger once, but not sure what he was doing, not addressing the slow play bottle neck. Part of the problem was at least the guys infront of us were waiting way too long to hit before the group in front of them, they waited like they were going to be able to hit up to them and then hey were far from it. Love the course layout!

Played this course for the first time and was very impressed! In excellent shape even with the excessive rain and heat of this summer! This course is a drivers paradise! Never have played another course with fairways as wide. Would definitely recommend this course to anyone!!

Course was in excellent condition except for the bunkers. Not racked in some time. Still good deal!

Great day, great course. Plenty of sand. nice big greens, in perfect condition. Fast yet not unplayable. Fairways are in perfect shape. Staff was very nice and helpful. Front has 3 par 3's, and 3 par 5's. lots of elevation changes. A real fun course.

Great course, the greens have a lot of ball marks on them, but it is a public course with a lot of traffic. Still rolled pritty good. Pace of play was horrible my 3 some, all single digit handicaps took 5 hours to play 18. The group in front of us was incredibly slow, on 15 a ranger finally showed up and gave them a warning. Even in the rain the course was nice, fairways excellent, rough was great condition, greens are in fair shape. I will come back this fall and expect it to be in much better shape once it cools off some. Overall I will defiantly return.

The course is in great shape with the one exception of way too many unfixed divots on the greens on some shorter holes.

Prior to play, heard positive comments from several locals & the PGA pro at Ft Knox. After playing the course, can say it was one of the best & picturesque courses I have ever played. The majority of the holes could be the signature hole on any golf course. Loved the layout & hole view, simply fabulous. Course maintained superbly and well manicured. Played as a twosome so the pace was what you would expect. Nice greens but we like 'em faster than what they were. Would definitely play again if in the area (visiting Ft Knox).

I have played courses from Dallas TX, to Houston Tx, all the way down the coast to Mississippi up to Alabama. I have played courses ranging from 25 a round to 200 a round and this is one the best courses I have ever played. The price is very reasonable the service is great the staff are polite and friendly, what else can I say, it's just a gem.
