A fun course
Ashford Castle's 9 hole golf course does not live up to the accommodations but neither would Old ahead or Pebble since the hotel is off the charts. Nevertheless it is free for guests to play which I guess is fair after you pay 1000 Euros for the room. The course has a lot of topo and you will use every shot in your bag. I was the only player on the course in the morning and walked it in under 2 hours. No one goes to Ashford to play golf but if your clubs are. In the boot get them out and play a quick 8.
