Course was in great shape for early in the season.
Very surprised and pleased with the condition of the course for early in the season. Seems the management is working hard to clean up the high grass in middle of some holes to improve playability.
Small negative - have gone to printed paper scorecards......please at least use card stock if are printing in house.
Worth it
Great time playing this course as usual, always in good shape and pace of play is good!
Great layout and fun
I only issue was that I booked for two, but at the last minute my playing partner got sick. Wish I could have gotten a refund for that.
Diamond in the rough
We played West Bridgewater for the first time today and we will definitely play more this Summer. It was WINDY, but the course is in excellent condition, the greens roll true, service from the staff was welcoming and you can't beat the price. In our next round, I'll play better now that I know the course, water areas and shortcuts.
Truly a diamond in the rough today - Wednesday.
Nice serviceable course good value
New name , same course but lots of good changes , in good shape, good pace of play, we were three and foursome in front , finished in four hours . Ranger out there active, pleasant . Greens fine. Recommend
Great bang for the buck. Played a day after a monsoon and course was still in pretty good shape just a few spots that you couldn’t really do anything about.
Very nice
It could be a great GC with TLC Some better bunkers. Can’t complain since the price was excellent I play Acushnet most of the time and this course is very close in class to it. Fast greens were excellent and I will be coming back to play.
Great mid-week deal
Pros
-course in fairly good shape. Greens a bit squishy and showing damage from pitch marks.
-cart paths nicely maintained
-$45 with cart not bad
-leaves only bad on the edge of woods
-cheap drinks!
Cons
-no one answers a phone in pro shop
-still plagued by drainage issues damage from carts mostly by cart paths.
-food limited
Well maintained course and friendly staffs.
It was first time play this course. Nice and clean facility and friendly staff made game started smoothly. Fairly easy course, no hills nor hidden valley but playful course.
Love to play there and definitely back to play again.
Good course
Good conditions,, some holes have a risk here , play those holes carefully is a must !!!! Good conditions. Greens good , fairways good ,,
Starter was a JERK
The starter was the perfect example of a person who should never be given any authority over anything . What a clown . Learn how to talk to people . Your the starter at a municipal golf course , not a drill Sargent .
Terrible course conditions
Cart path only! Fairways were soaking wet, with puddles everywhere, patches of raw dirt, leaf sinkholes that lead to inches of standing water. Balls kept lodging into the fairways and the rough wasn't cut down so it was easy to lose balls there too. Greens seemed well maintained to some degree minuw the plethora of loose leaves. The starter was there because he had to be not because he wanted to be. Around hole 8 he made a comment saying we have 2 hours to finish the round. We acknowledged it. But the starter seemed to not think so because he made passes by my group 4 more times, 3 of them stopping to tell us to pick up the pace, once to watch us play all the down a hole on the back 9. Mind you, there wasn't a single person behind us, and only 1 foursome that was 1 hole ahead of us. We quit on 17. Too many lost balls on too subpar of a course and a starter who tries pushing people along too much made for the worst experience I've had on a course to date.
