Slow
Course was ok today but the issue was the pace of play. We waited on every hole. The entire day I saw the ranger once and was not doing their job.., the job of a ranger is to move people along . DO YOUR JOB!!
A couple fairways are really drenched .. but I understand it’s all the rain we’ve had..
Great Fun
You get it all - beautiful fairways, true greens, hazards, and challenging pin placements. Course in great shape. Friendly staff. Highly recommended
Never again
I take my 3 year old son golfing all over the place. Hes wicked into it. One day last week decided to try wbcc. I walked into the pros hop and the old man said "you think he's golfing?" I said yes and he said "no he's not." I did not even bother arguing we just took our business elsewhere. We ended up at poquoy brook. They were very excited to host the next future generation of golfer (aka my 3 year old). 10/10 would never go back to river bend. Place is swamped our anyways.
Test your skills
This course is an amazing test to any golfer! Beautiful winding holes around rivers and through woods. Not a great course for beginners. You have to know how to place the ball here. That being said it was amazing out there today the fairways were pristine. Rough was a little long in some places but manageable. And the greens were just aerated so I wish I had known that. That was the only annoying part since it was tough to hold a line or judge pace. Other than that I was very impressed and will be back!
Slow play with too many 2-somes
Pace of play was slow slow slow. The course kept sending 2-somes out which slowed everything down. Marshal would not combined them even when pace got terrible, and we suggested it twice.
Course is very tight layout with woods and water on most holes. Greens had been aerated so putting was tough, but nice layout overall.
just a joy to play
We like this course a lot when its not wet and cart path only , layed blue tees today and shot 94 left a lot out on the course but plays long from blue for me. my friends had a good time 85 and 84 , my wife 108 . looking forward to the next time maybe white tee's.
Also didn't know the had punched the greens.
Still like this course when I can play it. Go play enjoy , have fun.
Clyde
good condition
course had certain wet areas but considering all the rain the course was in great shape.
Little wet
Considering how much rain the area got I was surprised most of the course drained . The major exception being the bunkers had knee high water in many places. Overall greens ran great and fairways were decent. Will def be back to play again .
Very pleased with how well the course looked. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. The only thing which may have made it slightly better is signage to next holes-almost got lost a few time.
Hit them Straight
My wife & I played here a few times and this time carts could be used in the fairways which was great, the layout here is really good and some great looking views of trees and of course the wetlands areas. Its a favorite of our to play when its not really wet or cart path only, the course looks great and some areas can be pretty soft but that is to be expected here knowing the grounds its built on. They do a nice job with greens and they have added a few paved cart paths and most likely more in the future.
So go have fun and enjoy the place before another drought.
