Great course and great price as well
Caddied at a very difficult country club for 10+ years, this is a tough course to walk would recommend taking a cart. Great course for the condition lay out and overall value. Will be back a lot.
Recommend for once a year play
Decent layout more difficult than card numbers indicate. Stay away on windy days the front 12 would be perilous on wide open property with water lingering on several holes. Back 9 is tight off the tee and would recommend whit tees for 14 hdcp or above. Carts are needed due to long walks from 7- to 8 threes and 9to 10th tees and I mean wicked long past clubhouse. Carts will be chasing you all day if you walk unfortunately. I am a walker 100% but not here even on a flat layout. Select the correct tees and you will be fine.
Tuesday 9/15/20
The course is well payed out with several long par 4s. The fairways are mostly flat with plenty of hazards that require hitting accuracy. The course was in good condition, grass was green not burnt or dry. We enjoyed playing here at West Bridgewater CC and will surely return.
Good layout, teeboxes were spread out nicely
The greens were just recently done, so the ball bounced around and with the sand rolled slowly
Embarrassing maintenance
Cool course layout but I’ve never seen such beaten up tee boxes and greens. Nothing rolled straight, divots we’re everywhere, it’s as if they didn’t even have a grounds crew. Really a shame because the course has some nice looking holes and is well situated in the woods. Need new grounds management and I’d come back.
Also, it took 5 hours 30 minutes to finish the round.. we waited at every single tee.. I read in the reviews it was slow but this was next level, we waited on every single tee.
Would play elsewhere if you can, otherwise it’s a serviceable round but posting a legitimate score will be difficult with the poorly maintained conditions.
Nice course layout
They have just aerated the greens end of August and top dressed with lots of sand. In a few weeks, it should be great but when we played the greens were really slow and soft. The course was very wet. I enjoyed the challenge of some narrow, long fairways. The front 9 was definitely in better condition. Italian sandwiches were excellent at the turn.
Greens almost unputtable
Pace of play was very slow and the greens were almost unputtable , having been recently aerated and sanded. It would have been nice to have been told about the greens, even at check in
Please take care of me
Course used to be beautiful but Johnson Management has run it into the ground. Cart paths awful. Greens not repaired from ball marks, no rangers. Other public courses that I play such as Ridder and Brookmeadow gets as much play and are cared for. Pristine and manicured. Not WBCC. Plus, staff was mowing lawn in flip flops.
Terrible Day of Golf
6:40Am tee time. Took 3 hours to play 12 holes and then we left. Ranger was surly. The place was grand central station. I feel like I was mugged. Never again. Greens were awful.
Weather shortened
The weather stopped a beautiful around the course is in great shape had some friends that I met up with wonderful time Harvey recommend if you’ve never played this course to play it
Golfers, please take care of the course
I would rate this course higher if anyone fixed their divots or pitch marks. Teenagers have fewer scars on their faces than these greens have from negligent golfers. I feel bad for the staff who have to clean up this mess. It's especially glaring because the course is fairly lush and in good shape otherwise.
